Angry at not being able to attend to the wounded with the rest of the Medicae and Chirugeons but forced to listen to this meeting, which was nothing more then informing those not able to collect data. Not that his kind heart goes to the wounded...he has no foolish ideas of a Sigma Helix medicae.Such things are beneath a Magos and any Organicist worth his salt would declare the same. Its just that one can learn so much from ones wound. Also...people divulge an obscene amount of information when drugged or near dying. The only reason why he came to the meeting was to gather more information on the heretekal machinery part of the retinue encountered. A shadow loomed over him,Zoran turned to his right seeing a giant of white ceramite leaning in,thunderbolts streaking his armor as machine spirits within sang in holy supplication. Young Adept fixed his glasses in a sudden fit of anxiety: "It shall be done Lord Ogedei."
Having consumed flesh and genetic material, K'tikathat can focus on recovering from his wounds like Shaper had once instructed him. But he won't be at peak performance when humans finally come to mutual understanding about the plan, even when it's likely to take hours from them. Using his chest muscles in any way tears the wounds open and his blades are destroyed anyway. Best the Kroot can provide is ranged support. K'tikathat sits on the ground his legs crossed, Inquisitional Seal placed prominently on him so trigger-happier members of PDF don't end up loosing their trigger fingers. Inquisitor is questioning that Shas'La. It's obvious that she is hiding something. Does it matter, that's different issue. Humans, Tau, all sentient beings have something to hide, fixated not to let others know no matter what what it is. Fear that your assumptions of their reactions come true is greater than the fear of your secret be revealed.
'Firebat' recovered as his specialized blood sped up healing. So he listened to the brief. " Let the sacred ways of Ommnissiah be my entrance." Otherwise he was silent, working on his flamer changing the toxin mixture and adding sacred oils to it since they are facing plague creatures.
Quietly enjoying the benefits of painkillers, Astra stood at the outer edge of the gathered retinue, tried to look lively, and chose to say nothing. She did not fully grasp the many tactical intricacies at work here, or admittedly, what they were exactly doing here, and was more than content with the simplicity of her role (stand by Alicia, catch psionic attacks).
~~Cathedral~~ Hearing the various suggestions and offers to help deal with the cultists cowering in the Cathedral, Archen said "We've tried burning the place down, but either the cowards use some sort of plague bomb to kill off the squad attacking with flamers," as he pointed to a set of loyalist corpses lying just inside the main entrance, nearly unrecognisable as Arbites and PDF if it wasn't for their uniforms as some sort of plague fluid had eaten away at their flesh "Or they manage to put out the fires before the place could be burnt down if we tossed a few Incendiaries at them." As Ogedei asked for troop numbers, the Chief Arbite said "Well, my lord, we have about a hundred assorted PDF and Arbites with various small arms, a few flamer teams from my side and about two lucky PDF sods with Multilasers holding the perimeter, with about three Repressors and two Chimeras for fire support." He gave a nod of approval to the Scion's idea of using a Grav-Chute to go in via the window, and the Guardsman's suggestion of more Flamers... Well, that would take time that they didn't have right now, as he said "The reason I need you lot to do the dirty work as it were is because simply put, they've dug themselves in deep, and I can't just throw men into the grinder like Kubrik Chenkov does and hope to drown them in blood." While he talked with the team about their ideas, Hera turned up in the Van full of the Wargear the team had in their haste to get to the Cathedral had accidentally left behind. Once she'd parked it close to the team, she headed off back to wherever Narthen was. (OOC: You guy can now restock on grenades and Special Ammo, as well as pick up any armoury weapons/ personal Wargear{Stuff on character sheet, provided it isn't broke [And Zoran can fix broken wargear provided it hasn't been utterly destroyed!]} that you didn't have before for whatever reason!{Armoury List }) ~~Cathedral-Chimera~~ While Archen was giving the rest of the team a briefing on the situation, Inquisitor Alicia Theanon had the problem of a Tau on a world that was certainly not a Tau Sept or a border world between the Imperium and the Tau Empire, as well as the fact there was ends other than the bunch of cultists in both a local Rebel group and somewhere outside Hive Vestera. Given that it had said it didn't want to cause harm, the Inquisitor decided that she could test if it actually wanted to not cause harm..... So she said "Well, you can prove that you don't want to hurt anyone who will abide by the Emperor's will by helping me destroy a network of traitors to the Imperium, and if you don't want to do that, I'll just have to cut off your head to save myself some trouble." ~~~~~~ @Shadhunter @GoreWrencha @DeranVendar @Uriel1339 @Verticus @Vulpas @TechCaptain @High_Adept_Zeth @Casavay @Coffeechipmunk @Colapse @torque
"NONSENSE!" Boris exclaimed when the Chief Arbiter spoke about troop numbers and the good Kubrik Chenkov. "It's our lot to die for the Emperor! Spend this currency as needed to get the job done in his name!" Shouting over from the current defensive line former guardsman was in his element with heavy stubber loaded up and aimed at the Cathedral, just waiting, daring the cultist to rear their ugly heads. "Load up every Chimaera and transport we've got then plow through the walls! Deliver flamer squads into the thick of it while the rest of us storm on up. Shock an awe Arbiter, shock and awe! " All grins as usual Vostroyan kept his senses sharp, visibly jittery with the desire to mete out violence proper.
Kais gave a light chuckle. That wasn't her first death threat, and it certainly wont be the last. Decapitation? At least be a bit creative, Kais thought. "I don't have much of a choice then, do I?" Kas put her helmet back on, locking it in place, which is a bit hard to do one handed. "Although, I wont be much help with one arm. If you guys have a vox frequency I could tune in. That is, if you have someone who could repair my helmet."
Pierce was taken to several medical tents for a blood transfusion and to begin a process on giving him bionics for the lost limbs, A tech priest came by as a medic did work on his side and chest, working on the Las,burn and glass wounds over his body, The tech priests came in with a dulled bionic leg and arm, Pierce was knocked out for most of the surgery as the tech priests began wiring and searing the bionics to his stomps putting nerves and sensors in the right place so the vindicare could get back in action. As the work finished purgatives and adrenaline began running through his system to wake him up. Pierce's eyes soon opened. "Welcome back Agent, I have installed a fresh bionics to your body." The tech priest said the Assassin nodding. "Thank you tech priest, I must get back to work." Pierce said before leaving. "But wait you'r body need to get acquainted to your bionics before you can return to combat." Pierce looked to the tech priest. "I have 15 minutes To get back into combat Tech priest show me what you need to to perform the basics." Pierce said before he began becoming familiar with his bionics and soon returning to the inquisitor to be briefed. Pierce would have to get his rifle Unjammed by Zoran, after which he needed to stock up on grenades, again. Pierce thought to himself.
It was time for the Scion to do what he has always wanted to do; He walks away from the gathering of tactical speakers and scrolls through his wrist mounted dataslate to look at m̶e̶m̶e̶s̶---- Important notes on the current tasks at hand and previously completed documents to run over and review, some good busy work, time to chat about life and it's meaning with those who come up to him and chat with him while still doing something productive.
'Firebat' did most of his armor and weapon maintenance but he did go to the van to get grenades especially his special grenades. He also went to Zoran to have his power scale armor and his cybernetics to be checked out. The medicade couldnt do anything for him since he was barely human.
