Sedric grunts in pain as he gets hit, perplexed on where it hit him. He takes his rifle from Astra and aims down his sights, staying clear from Borris. "Ah, thank you kindly, miss." Sedric carefully takes shots, staying out of Borris' way. He aims for the head, hoping Borris will damage the shambling corpses enough to finish them off.
As Zoran was forced to play messenger for the Enforcer, the Tech-Priest would find that the Banquet hall was now empty for all but two Spyrers, Narthen, Lady Ionria, Hera and the Inquisitor. As he entered the deadly quiet room, he was wave over by Alicia who said "So, what did Takeshi do? Did he find anything useful or did saving the Cardinal turn out to do more harm than good?" Techpriest approached,noticing a stark change in the ambient.Hearing the gunshots and revving of chainswords in the distance,he didn't needed a cogitator-enhanced cognitive functions to deduct that the heretics are already on the move. Guising as a figure of humility,he approached the Inquisitor,summing up everything they have learned from the Cardinal as well as his...termination.Updating her with the newest development of events,he configured vox-frequency between him and Takeshi to an encrypted level...lest the heretics have technological means of spying on them...and considering the techno-heresy that is underway...

As K'tikathat tended to his wounds, the make-shift dressing keeping the bleeding from being too much of a problem for the Kroot, while Firebat's bolt heralded the machine's death, final bolt rendering the machine effectively dead, still moving but open for a finishing move.... A killing blow that K'tikathat was in the best position to inflict (@GoreWrencha , you can emote finishing off the Xeno-Machine!) As for Kais, it would be too late to use the autopistol to actually harm the beast. Meanwhile, the PDF squad licked their wounds, Arano gathering up what remained of Zerta with the tears in the man's eyes for the loss of his brother being born silently, while Gek got out of the squad's Chimera and helped Terna gather up what was left of their Squad Leader. After the corpses of their conrades were picked up, Terna said to them "If you lot need a lift to get some medical attention, you can hope on board our Chimera, as I don't think any of you can use the way you came down here.... If the Enforcer declined to get the rest of the Retinue, the driver would set off for the Cathedral at full speed. ~~Backroom~~ As Boris let his Heavy Stubber loose, the bullets shredding the weaker of the two Zombies and leaving something that looked very much like a skeleton, but it was still alive for the moment... Until Miria lopped off its head in a single stroke of her Power Sword. The Khan's chainsword would tear the other zombie into pieces, and finally Sedric finished off that zombie with a shot right in-between the corpse's eye sockets. With the foursome having killed off all the zombies, they would hear no further moaning of the dead, but there were more doors with the Red 'X' on them.... She said "Looks like we'll be heading to the Cathedral then..... After we get Firebat, K'tikathat and Pierce from wherever they are, and you patch up anyone that needs some medical attention." So she beckoned over Hera and said "Can you put out an alert for a Tech-Guard, a Vindicare and a Kroot?" After a bemused look from the aide who couldn't help but think that it was the set up for a very poor joke, the vox-thief yet again informed Zoran what she was saying: "If anyone in the PDF or Arbites find a Tech-Guard, an Imperial assassin and a Xenos, mind calling it in because the Inqusitor wants them back." While Hera put out the alert for the odd trio, Alicia said to the Reman noble who had just "I'll need you to stay close to me for now, we'll be going into a situation where your... 'Firebat' lifted the semi-concious officer and carried him/her into the chimera. "Get us back and let the inquisitor know what has happened. " After securing the prisoner, he helped the rest get loaded up. Stopping only to admire the fires of battle for a moment.

Takeshi ordered, nodding at the Scion as he contacted via vox on the Inquisitor-channel, attempting to reach all of the retinue and the Inquisitor herself. "Silver Shroud reporting. The Techpriest should have reported by now, we are enroute to the Cathedral with forces of the Arbites to establish a perimeter, we will need reinforcements ASAP in order to stop the forces of chaos from spreading any further. However, there is also another leader, of rebels called 'Freedom's Angels', it appears he is hiding further down in the hive. We will await arrival of whatever reinforcements and shall make a stand until all enemies are defeated, or we are dead. The foul enemy shall not survive even the night."
@TechCaptain Pierce began trying to get up the blood loss and the lack of limbs making it harder then before. "Need Assistance Firebat." Pierce said looking over to skitari, Pierce put his exitus pistol to his belt and tried to get up using his exitus rifle as a crutch. "Need to stop bleeding of stump. Use of heated metal suggested." Pierce said gritting his teath in pain as he tried to hobble over to the chimera for transport.
'Firebat' took a super heated piece of metal from the wreckage of a building. He used it to seal the assassins woumds and everyone elses after using his sight to make sure the toxins haven't stuck to it.
K'tikathat raises up, removing the remaining armblades handle from his arm and dropping it to ground. Kroot marches towards the beast steadily, cracking his neck by pushing upwards under his chinbeak. Grim looking character, covered in blood and wounds, clenching his fists, walks to the staggered beast. "You were worthy challenge, beast. Kindred see you." K'tikathat ties his arms around the beasts head, digging his fingers on irregularities for grip and with loud shout reels his arms back, bending the metal and ripping the socket apart. As he lets go, the head slumps down, hanging from wires after loosing its support. K'tikathat raises his foot and stomps down on the head, tearing the wires and causing the head to bounce couple times away from the body. Drawing heavy breath and spitting blood clot, K'tikathat posture slumps. It was fortune that he survived, not skill. Shaper would give him hard scolding had this happened with Kindred. He drags himself back to the Chimera and picks the rifle he tossed away earlier. New blades he needs to request from Inquisitor later. Turning to the PDF he then asks. "You be angry if I eat that?" Pointing to the corpse of their squad leader.
"Big Sis, Smokey anchor each side of the doorway, Smokes open each one up. Lightnin' clear whatever door is opposite of our current position. " Moving up the trooper set himself in front of the next door with stance set and weapon leveled dead center waiting for the others. "Inquisitor we've got other marked doors, prepping to breach and clear. "
Astra tried her darnedest to appear chipper, but the act failed, courtesy of the internal damage that had her clutching her torso and breathing heavily. "Uh... yes... ma'am. But I'd like to note... I'm not at my limberest..." She swallowed the thought of asking for medical attention, and instead only gave Alicia a short, fleeting smirk.
