Intent on seizing the opportunity given to him, Ogedei immediately holstered his bolter and activated his jump pack, aiming to land on top of one of the cars. Trusting his power armor and enhanced metabolism to deal with the wounds suffered, he simultaneously pulled out his bolt pistol and chainsword as his flight reached its peak. "FOR KHAN AND THE EMPEROR!" White Scar shouted as he descended, activating vox boost units in his helm to try and additionally effect these traitors in case the sight of a Space Marine wasn't enough to cause fear. His intention was to land on top of the car and promptly hack it apart, after which he would do the same to the other vehicle. He would also try to kill both gunners but only incapacitate one of the drivers, knocking him out or something, in order to use him for further questioning.
Kais looked into the crate with disappointment. "No food, guess we'll have to wait." She turned her head to the shouting of the humans above them. "Grab what you can. We can either defend, or head deeper in. I vote for heading deeper in." She grabs the Lasgun, the Chainsword, 1 of each special ammo types, 1 frag grenade, and a stun grenade. She sighs, and says under her breath "What I wouldn't do for a Pulse Rifle right about now..."
"Millions of people live in this Hive. Nobles are having a feast above. Food is not scarce." K'tikathat replies, a moot point for Kroot who could eat basically anything. He moves his attention from the Firewarrior to noises echoing from above. I wonder will they fall down as well. "I was heading down anyway." Returning his gaze to Kais, K'tikathat steps backwards to finally give the female Tau personal space. The box which he hadn't paid attention earlier didn't offer much to him as his harness was full already. Picking more would just be on way. K'tikathat sheaths the armblade and corrects the rifle strap going across his chest, then takes first steps deeper into the Hive. Firewarrior was still suspicious, but he trust her more than humans.
Kais followed behind K'tikathat, heading deeper into the Hive. "What is your business on Verdan Prime, if I may ask?" She looks over her shoulder periodically, making sure there is no one behind them. "Not the best place to be, nor want to go deeper into."
Being shot in his shoulder, Ferenien would find it hard to cope with recoil, he had to switch arms to accommodate, the Scion had no problem doing so from his training, but he had to change his position in cover, detaching his riot light and mag-clamping it to the van around the origin of his cover, still focused on the remaining threats, he would move to the other side of the van and then some, getting a different angle and position of attack on his foes, this is where he would begin a new assault on his battered foes, firing his hotshot once more at another threat, in attempt to pick them off one by one from there.
~~ Courthouse ~~ "You smell that stench? Stench of corruption. I suggest you prepare for a planetary rebellion, and let the Inquisitor know. I fear, we have the God of Pestilence on this world, and it will need very pure flames to incinerate that stench for good." Takeshi noted to the fellow Enforcers as he took out his Power Maul before stepping inside the cell, pointing his weapon against the 'Cardinal'. "I had my suspicions, and at least I got you away from the banquet, I wished the God-Emperor would shine his light upon you, but alas. Your soul has already given to the darkness of the warped immaterium! There is no safety for you now anymore is there? I can only pray that he will have mercy with your tainted soul, but we both know that he won't."
Miria turned to face the servant and gave a small smile. "Of course. What can I help you with?" She asked.
]Sedric puffs his cigar and and has a sorta suprised look on his face "wow it can do all that can it? Repair itself clean its self and shoot off a few bolters? How does one come across such a thing? Because i want two of em." Sedric dryly laughs to himself kimda amazed yet only half beliving it can take care of itself
Unplugging from the Cogitator,Zeth widened his eyes for a while, being so long in the vox-net strained his unaugmented mind. Pleased at the bounty of data that he retrieved,Zeth compiled what he gathered into a sensible sentances that would make sense to the Inquisitor. The constant stammering and repeating of specific terms of some heathen culture did not help either. Then again...no matter what Cardinal found on Tharsax III...the term..."Grandfather of Pestilence"struck a cord, yanking at his very soul and Zoran was not an easy man to unsettle, for he has seen many horrors and what a man is capable of,especially in the Cult byzanthine and draconic politics.Whatever these preachers are dealing with,it is highly secretive and highly dangerous.Who knows how deep this heresy goes? Intoning a psalmic blessing he purged his entry in the Cogitator Unit, lest someone tracks the data he uncovered. With a curt farewell to the senior Transmechanic,Adept Zeth made his way to the banquet,in hopes of finding the Inquisitor and appraising her of the data that he uncovered.
The 'Metal Man' shrugged and signaled his Assassin partner. The trail, the 'scouts' left was obvious, so he followed unobtrusively as possible blending into his environment. He was a ranger so tracking and scouting on scant information was nothing new.
