'Firebat' raised an eyebrow and notice she avoided the important question are they heretics. He couldn't care who was in charge. " Major, who do you have that are good scouts who can accompany me? It looks like you need more recon and there isn't a simple solution." His pilot light flared for a moment at the thought of a true hunt. This was going to be fun for him. And if it turns out the government are the heretics at least there is someone to take charge.

    <Wasteland>

After a moment of thinking, Ogedei gunned his bike towards the convoy, marking the ruins behind him on the map in case if he needs to return. Well not if, because in case he founds nothing at the convoy he could easily head back and check the buildings.

Loading up the twin bolters in front of Malaya, the Khan flew through the wastelands and set up an intercept course towards the line of vehicles, intent on making them halt for inspection. If they fail to comply, he'll simply make it happen anyway.

Seeing these approaching threats, Votum would reach behind his back, unclipping his specialized lasgun from it's power supply, activating the energy feed to the gun as he does. The gun starts humming as it is pumped full of hotshot energy. He would point the rifle's muzzle in the general direction of the approaching threats, using the Ryza Pattern scoping to get a bead on them, evaluating which one seems to be the leader as quick as he can, scalding hot energy nearly pouring out of the muzzle indicating it is prepared to fire an accurate bolt of laser at a given notice, yet, firing now would hamper the training he has received. The appearance he displays would most likely ward any smart or weak enemy, allowing a conflict to be avoided; His finger remains primed on the trigger nonetheless, any hostile movement now would meet in a face-full of hotshot-las to the deduced leader. The Scion shouts in a demanding voice through his Omnishield Helmet's speaker: "This is your only warning. Vacate the proximity of this area or be liquidated."

"He is granted a call. As for holding up to the Lex Imperialis. It is what we all follow, not just as Arbites but as citizens of the Imperium. If only one defies it, if only one ignores it. Then villainy, corruption and darkness will devour the Imperium. And I shall see to prevent it to my best abilities, which is why I was so inclined to protect the Cardinal. We share the same goal, even if with different means." Takeshi explained calmly, looking the fellow Arbites straight into the eyes, well from behind his visor.

    ~~Offices~~
"Well, I'll do my best to get that organised, but that's going to take some time.... If you give me half an hour, I'll get a squad with a Chimera ready to meet you outside the building. I'll send a runner to look for you once the squad's ready, unless you'd like to wait here and ask my aide any further questions." The Major replied, as she looked at his hoping to get the Tech-Guard out of her hair. With that said, she left her office and disappeared into the labyrinth that is the Government offices, leaving SPECTER-77 to his own devices. The office area itself was overflowing with Adepts going this way or that, with the various stacks of paper sitting on the desks of overworked functionaries providing enough concealment for anyone to disappear.

    ~~Wasteland~~
As Ogedei made his way across the land, the convoy of two Chimeras at either, a huge tanker truck with ramshackle armour and the turret from a Leman Russ bolted onto the top of the cargo section, complete with the assembly allowing the turret to rotate, along with other emplacements along the top of the truck. There was about six cars armed with various makeshift weapons, with all of the vehicles being sealed to survive in a Radiation hot spot The lead Chimera noticed the Space Marine on his bike.... And promptly fired up a blue flare high into the sky, alerting the rest of the convoy to start speeding up, as if they were trying to get away from the Angel of Death, and the heavy stubber bullets streaming from the truck's emplacements and scything around his bike should have made it quite clear that whoever was leading the wasteland convoy wanted him gone. Whether the flare would end up bringing more trouble was yet to be seen.

The Scion's attempt to ward off the group with a threat didn't quite work as expected as the group scattered into what little cover there was, with the weapons of the group becoming apparent: Lasguns and autoguns, and they tore off patches of their clothes to show a emblem of a local saint flanked by angels holding swords pointed skywards, with words "Freedom's Angels" in white on a black background at the bottom of the patch. Votum's hot-shot lasgun fired a searing bolt at the person Ferenien had correctly identified as leading the group, taking the man's right arm clean off, forcing one of the group to drag their leader into cover. It became apparent there was only five of them in their squad and the remaining three fired their weapons at the Scion, only to be either blocked by the Carapace armour or to miss him entirely. However the civilians in the alley cleared out, none of them wanting to get caught in the crossfire.

    Retinue:
    Ferenien: 10

    Freedom's Angels:
Squad Leader: 1{3}: Missing right arm, In cover
    Rebel x 4 : 2 : In cover

"Indeed we do." The Arbitrator concluded, before gesturing to one of the other Arbitrators to go and fetch what Merius would need to make his call. About five minutes later that Arbitrator returned with a Vox-Caster set, and handed it to the Cardinal, who adjusted the device then said his message "To my Preachers of the Emperor's word: After events involving a brush with an Inquisitor who flirts with damnation by allowing a Xenos to work alongside, I have been forced to reside in the Arbite's Courthouse until my trial. I would call for all of you to keep calm and not incite hatred for this turn of events."
However, it would be hard to shake the feeling that the Cardinal's message had other meanings than the one on the surface.

    ~~Meeting Room~~
(OOC: There's a point when the dice get too cruel even for a GM, and they crossed that line with you Zeth, so you're getting a free pass on healing K'tikathat.)

Zoran's skills with healing with his dendrites managed to stop both the bleeding and heal the initial wound that had been the cause of this farce of an attempt at healing the Xenos. At least the two would finally be able to go their separate ways, seeing as the Kroot had a free reign in what he did, and the Techpriest had his own duty to attend to involving Cogitators in private use by the Governor.

    ~~Banquet Hall~~
"Or you could track down SPECTER and lend him a hand, I'm sure that the metal man will appreciate the assistance, seeing as K'tikathat can handle himself ." Alicia replied to Pierce, just as the servants finished setting the tables, and so Narthen addressed the assembled group "If my guests would like to take their seats at the head table, if they haven't already taken a like to the punch? The other Highborn will be arriving soon" as he descended the grand staircase to take a seat at the head table, adding the bit about the punch for Boris who was busy smelling a punch bowl.

Speaking of Boris, the Vostroyan would find the punch wasn't spiked with any poison..... But under the table the Guardsman would find that the place he tried to stick his det-pack to had already been taken by someone else's explosive device. Luckily, just by feeling around underneath the table, he'd find that the explosive was a simple device that should take no time at all for him to disarm. Other than that, there was no other traps or acts of sabotage to worry about.

And to mention the various invited Highborn, the first one had already arrived via the main entrance, a door on the head table's right-hand side: Lady Ionria, this time attired in a more restrained black and white outfit, with stiletto heels, a long skirt that went down to her shins, long gloves that went past her elbow and a shirt that hugged her figure quite tightly.

He went to find that aide thr Major talked about. " Just get your scouts in place. Don't worry about finding me. If they are any good they will be able to and if they are not I will find them." Spectre-77 then faded into the crowd before disappearing. He made his own way into the hive moving by means that would kill the unaugmented.

"Inquisitor, detected a single enemy explosive underneath the punch table, right where I was set to place my own. Going to disarm it since we don't need none of that now do we? Least not possible enemy sabotage, suggest ye confront the party about this and find out if it's their own defensive action or not, wouldn't be surprised either way. " Dropping down to a knee when no one was looking he wormed under the table giving a go at snipping wires until the explosive was disarmed, though he couldn't activate it himself now merely slapping it up alongside another explosive should greatly increase blast damage. With a gentle smack against underside of the table smile turned to full grin as he loaded up his own explosive. "Imperial might dominates the situation...." Confident he had done well Boris stows away that explosive for later and crawls out from under the table taking a look at how things had changed, for now his plan was to start figuring out firing lines, means of escape and avenues of assault within the Banquet itself, seeing as guests were still arriving he figured there was time before he needed to start grilling people.

"The prey bites back!" the Khan laughed as the hail of bullets exploded all around him. He immediately spotted various weapons on the convoy's vehicles, but most of them were just heavy stubbers that would take a long time to take him down, the only serious problem being the big cannon on top of the truck.

Therefore, Ogedei gunned Malaya down and tried to approach the tanker from its back side, careful to evade the enemy fire. Once in range, he would retaliate by opening fire with his bike, aiming just below the turret's section in order to try and blow up the ramshackle armor holding it in place. if that doesn't work, he would always fire into the tanker itself. Who knows, maybe it carried some sort of fuel inside after all...

Boris would find Miria standing in front of him when he returned to his feet. "You should be a bit more careful about when you decide to go under tables..." Perhaps she was teasing him? It was hard to say. She crossed her arms and spoke softly. "What'd you find?"
