"Good to hear, Captain. Take your time and ensure everything is in working order. We are going to need that weapon to take the ship," Mariah said happily. She then looked around to all the bodies, "Tie up the guards. I do not want them to spread what they have seen here and ruin our mission." Mariah then moved over to a few guards and began to the then to support posts so that they could not escape.
  2. Ebba was tired and feeling a little dizzy from the recent battle. She had spent a lot of energy channeling the wind of Aqshy and she needed rest. However the battle was won but danger was still around, she looked to her wounded shoulder and frowned. She pressed her hand to it and attempted to apply pressure to lessen the bleeding. She looked around at the assembled men (Among others) and said:

"Hey! Is there a healer present? I could use some assistance."

Khelandria took in the meeting: the two incomers, one of whom was her target; the relative positions of the Ogre pretending to be a table; her own vantage point; Harold, the ... distraction. She'd go with distraction.

She leaped from her shelter, drawing a dagger and jumping up to get onto the man's back. One dagger in her hand, at his throat, her knees wrapped around his waist, the other hand pulling his head back for a lethally-threatened strike - that was what the Bride of Khaine had in mind. Ambush and hostage to her good graces ... and ability to rein in her simmering bloodlust.

"Tugg! Take the other one down!"

With Khelandria leaping from cover and attempting to subdue their target Dar--Harold slapped the paper down and hoisted up his crossbow. Leveling it at waist level he focused on the guard at the officer's side.

"Not a single fuggin' move ye sorry sod! Tugg just knock him over the noggin! " Hoping they could avoid too much extra bloodshed the man began to slowly walk around the table, trying to empty out his mind and slip into instinct so he could just shoot the other guard in the event of him trying to make a move.

  5. Having gotten to a sitting position for the plan surprise plan he dident entirely get, though ofcause he dident mind to get a sit down every know and then.
But then someone else had arived though not that he could see them at the moment, all he could was hear them now yelling that they spotted Harold, and now all of a sudden they where to jump into fighting, that was properbly a surprise attack, the annoying part was just that he was sitting, and now pretty much just to try and get a move on it a pretty clumsy and crashy way.

"Aye, take this," one of the soldiers answered Ebba and gave her a healing balm to cover her wound with it, thankfully it was already cauterized due to her magic and therefore presented with little issue at the moment. On the other side, the workers were tied up and left in a corner gagged so they couldn't call for help while the rest of the soldiers prepared the cart and the Helblaster for moving out.

Once everything was ready they left the warehouse, led by Derrick who acted as some sort of a guide through the street maze of Ravenstein. Like before, their movement was not hindered by an enemy patrol since almost everyone was at the wedding party and as the night fell, they soon arrived in what was the center of the Docks district - the Ravenstein's harbor.

There were currently many ships docked of various sizes and even more various allegiances, used by the Baron's guest to safely arrive here by water and evading possible trouble the land transportation might give them. However definitely the biggest impact on them left a ship in the middle of the harbor which they almost immediately knew they were looking for. It was a mighty warship, black sails and two decks brimming with cannons, the vessel made for cross-oceanic travel and an envy of every pirate captain from here to the southern cape. It was one of the first shows of might this Baron had to offer and it was quite effective.

In front of it, right next to a wooden walkway that led onto the warship was a small "fortification". Couple of small guardhouses manned with quite a number of guards. There were fifteen of them in front, led by two warriors in plate armor and giant swords resembling one of the elite regiment of the Imperial army, while the rest were a mix of guards they already saw in the warehouse as well as some packing ranged weapons in the form of crossbows. Also, they saw couple of bodies patrolling the warship itself, all armed with bows and ready to repel any possible attackers. What was even worse is that both Alozia and Ebba felt the presence of another magical user on board, although this one's magical aura was of fleeting effect, hidden and fluid like a morning mist.

"That's lots of guards for just one ship," captain York said to Mariah as they watched the place from one of the side streets, staying out of sight, "I mean, I expected it to be guarded but not this heavily. Strange...so, what's the plan?"

OOC You are atm hidden up until the moment you attack. You can set up the Helblaster to try and fire on the enemies without it being seen as well.

    Enemies:

    In front of the warship:
    - 8 guards armed with swords and shields
    - 5 armed with crossbows
    - 2 Greatswords (Elite)

Inside the warship (on the main deck):
    - 5 guards armed with bows
    - 1 magical user (Elite - unknown\hidden)
    - ?? guards (which you can't see at the moment)

Guards from the ship can fire on you from the ship without the trouble of getting attacked by melee weapons. In order to get to them you need to cross the wooden walkway that connects the dock with the ship itself. Walkway can only be crossed by one person at a time. You can also try to jump from the dock onto the ship but I'll do a roll for that and if you fail, you'll drop in the water. You have the first attack.

"Deviant Slayer...quest for Justice? What..." the second guard looked quite dumbfounded at the appearance of Harold and his gaze wavered a little as it fell on the paper Harold was pointing at him, while his hand remained on the grip of his mace but not pulling it out due to the fact he was looking at the other end of a crossbow which rendered his heavier armor obsolete at such short distance.

Guard Leader, the one called Horst, was not to be fooled by such an act and he took couple of steps towards Harold with his sword drawn before Khelandria jumped on him from the shadows, completely surprising the man. At the same time a loud noise came from the other side as Tugg moved back on his feet, breaking couple of weapon stands in the process. However such was the elegance of his move that one of the big stands simply fell and toppled over the second guard and buried him under the pile of wood and steel, the man simply ceasing to move altogether.

"You killed him," Horst said as the Witch Elf's dagger drew a tiny droplet of blood from his neck, making him drop his sword in surrender, but his spirit remained defiant, "For that you will pay. You have no idea what you are dealing with here...if you let me go I promise I'll be merciful on your souls...Fools..."

While the Guard Leader kept on rambling, Harold spotted a lengthy rope near one of the training dummies which he could easily use to tie the man up. So far it looked that they had everything under control and that this task was turning out to be much easier than it looked like at the start. Just as planned.

OOC Harold can tie Horst up while you wait for Didier, the secret Witch Hunter to show up. Sorry for moving it a bit slower, but will push it faster once you decide how to apprehend your target :)

The Estalian duelist grinned as he saw that his plan of taunting the Wolf Priest worked by forcing the warrior to charge him in quite a reckless fashion. But what proceeded next was a true spectacle to behold.

Moving like a northern blizzard, Kristoff reached into melee much faster than Manuel anticipated. The first attack would've taken off Estalian's head if connected, however the duelist moved with equal agility and numbly jumped away right before driving once again in. His sword came from below and caught Kristoff's left leg, creating a crimson diagonal cut from his knee up to his groin. The wound was of course not that deep but it still hurt a lot.

However getting in close allowed the Wolf Priest to bring his hammer about and smash its head into Estalian's sword arm, nearly disarming him and drawing blood in the process. He swung his hammer around for another strike but Manuel was faster, stabbing forward with his dagger and grazing Kristoff's temple while almost gauging out his left eye.

Another streak of blood and another point for the southerner, who backed away, dodging the followup attack by once again jumping backwards and creating a distance between himself and the Wolf Priest. This time there was no quirky remark, just a savage glint in his eyes that spoke for itself.

With the escapade over the cannon sorted and the mission a step closer to completion, Alozia replied to the Captain "Well, we might as well get the cannon ready for a shot, as we do have magic available should the cannon decided to cause an issue. And.... I hope it works, cause there's another mage aboard which might be problematic, along with the rest of the guards."

Needless to say, someone with such a slippery signature along with the rather large number of guards both normal, ranged and surprisingly well equipped ones meant that gambling with the cannon was a safer option than not doing something to soften up the hostiles in front of the team. With that said, the Druchii readied her Doombolts once more, hoping to let them loose at the same time as the (hopeful) cannon volley.

By the end of it his attack, the Wolf Priest was mentally berating himself. He knew what game this Estalian was playing, and like a fool he charged right into it, jeopardizing his chances to fight against. He wouldn't make the same mistake again. "Alright then lad, we've played on your terms. Now play on time."

A savage grin formed on the Ulrican's face as he took a step back, lifting his head unto the sky and raising his hammer to the havens. Ulric, gracious father of war, grant me your favor and show this disrespectful Southroner what happens when he disrespects one of your servants. More importantly, give me the chance to bring righteous death unto this Sentinel. No Heretic shall dwell in your realm if I have a say in it.

There was a definite sudden drop in temperature as Ulrican whispered his prayer, the wind picking up and lashing about the arena. Kristoff stepped back into a relaxed and ready stance, waiting for Ulrics blessing to descend.

  9. Xiucoatl looked over the ship and the guards that were stationed before it. It was an impressive ship, larger than ones he had seen on his trip across the great waters from Lustria, and now understood why the Baron would have such a force here to protect it. "The cannon would be a good way to start our fight, but we should be ready for what comes off the Baron's ship like the Sorceress had spoken of. I will fight the ones with the large swords if they survive the first shot." the Saurian said as he readied himself and his sword and shield, ready to charge the moment the blaster was fired to take advantage of the shock if there was any among the guards.

Khelandria gestured for Harold to make good use of that rope. The Witch Elf was skilled at binding captives, but she held her dagger to the posturing miscreant's throat instead. Making sure that he, as it were, got the point.

"Talk as much as you like," she hissed in his ear, "but anything above a whisper and I'll cut an inch off your tongue." She ached to draw blood like a proper Bride of Khaine. But she steeled herself. This was not the time.
