"Damnit.....Regroup on me," Mariah yelled as she held her group. She then attempted to push off the Ork attackers and move to the men. She had to reform them as they stood no chance on their own in a battle like this. "Come to me men and help me teach these vial Orks the lesson they deserve," she called out as she attempted to cut a path to the other men.
Tuska grinned at the boss. "Youz hit like a snotty ya git lets get at it den!" He swung with his own axe directly at the bosses face. He didn't want to kill the boar big enough to carry a Orc warboss as easily as this one can and it was hard to find and harder to train and Tuska wanted it. Either he would have a new wyvern or a boar by the end of this battle he didn't even consider death.
Ubarin felt the sting of the wyvern as a deep cash went down his chest. He almost fell back and used his staff to help him keep up. Aegis flew up from her master as he stood against the wyvern. "Alright you overgrown lizard looks like you got a hit against me, That doesn't mean this will be a easy kill or it will be over yet." Ubarin said as he took some blood from his gash and rubbed it against his staff. Coughing up some blood and grabbing his staff high he began channling magical energies in his staff. using the remaining shards of metal he has in his small pouched he tossed them up and had them float around his staff and swirl as he readied it for combat. With several swipes sent several of the shards at the wyvern each glowing a bright orange with heat emminating off of them.
Having killed the tusky riders together with the armoured human, Tugg was in a very good mood, the tuskies had to taste much better than goblins, witch for now where on the, only when very hungry list. Seing the brawl going on at the gate now, this just seemed to be a great day. Tugg picked of a large piece of masonry from the ground, "INCOMING" he yelled before chucking it into the melee, then himself following it in.
Closing her hands around her paper bomb, Feuerstolz was clearly more concerned about the powder than her body, taking the burns and smell of singed hair in stride. After all, this was nothing she was not used to by now, even though these flames seemed to lick and bite differently than the normal, mortal reactions she had been working with and burned by previously. Noticing that the fuse and paper were unharmed, she tucked it into her belt and, angry and somewhat fed up with magicians, attempted to get a bead on the gobber flyer, firing her concealed pistol at the overgrown mushroom on his undergrown dragon.
Khelandria shivered. Not at the welcome touch of winter; that was an unexpected blessing, and she welcomed it, but it was for her a pleasant reminder of home. The arterial spray caressing her bare skin as she plunged her dagger into the jugular of the nearest Greenskin was what did it, like a benediction of the Lord of Murder. She screamed another warcry and thrust her other blade in an overhand blow into the next Ork in line. There were no shortage of targets. Up above, hidden by the blizzard from a clear shot and too high for her to reach besides, she could hear the Wyvern's hoarse cry as its rider made it plunge through the skies. She hoped that the defenders in the tower were safe from the aerial beast. Her attention was being torn two ways, from the need to defend the group and the desire to immerse herself fully in the dance of battle. Khelandria, schooled in the ways of the Witch Elf and a blood-soaked Bride of Khaine as she was, knew that she could lose herself without fear. If she died, she went straight to her beloved Khaine. If she lived, then she would reap more skulls and spill more blood for her Lord. But she had given her word that she would work with these strangers, and to a Dark Elf, strange though some might find it, honour was important. She took another swing at an attacker and leaped up nimbly to plant her boot against his forehead. Khaine would understand. It was the killing that mattered.
OOC @TuskatheDaemonKilla just as a heads-up, there won't be any mount reward at this time. It's still early in the game for such thing and also, I'm not even sure if I'm going to go down that road because that will create a really disproportional setup that I don't think will be cool for everyone. <Contract#1 - Ending> @Grall_Stonefist @Jorimel @Maleth @lord-watchman @Vulpas @Keidivh @matt23 @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Valonox @DaKaptin @Casavay On top of the tower, Aloiza managed to withstand the Shaman's attack, the powers at her command allowing her to push away the crescent shape and neutralize it completely. Retaliating, a single Doombolt was fired upon the beast and its rider. Goblin brought his own warding spell and he shimmered as his body was set to the fire, the spell just merely grazing him but enough to make him scream in pain. He began losing control on the Wyvern and the monster roared, for a second indecisive on who to attack, a second enough for Ubarin to do his magic. Shards of metal went straight through Wyvern's chest and wings, the beast rearing and then toppling forward, the blood flowing freely from its multiple wounds (OOC @Vulpas you can execute the Wyvern with your next post). Accidentally, couple of shards even managed to hit the Goblin Shaman and he fell from his seat on the ground of the tower. As he tried to get up and bring his power to bear, his doom approached quicker than he realized as Feuerstolz aimed her pistol at him...(OOC @Casavay you can execute the Shaman with your next post - I thought it would be cooler if you wrote that part, if you wish that is ). Down below, everything was turned upside down for the Orcs when Tugg threw a big piece of masonry at them, flattening couple of those Orcs who tried to gang upon Mariah and Captain Borha, after which he moved in and bashed another two with his cleaver, saving the Bretonnian Maiden from harm. This gave Kristoff and his wolf comrade the opening they needed to advance upon the Ork Boss, who traded blows with Tuska. Tuska's strike was blocked by Boss's shield while the Black Orc ate another blow below the waist, the angry boar hitting him with its tusk (OOC Tuska got hit by a tusk just had to write it, sorry ). However the Boss was so engaged in the battle with its other green counterpart that he failed to spot Kristoff coming from behind...(OOC @Keidivh you can execute the Ork Boss and his boar with your next post ) Khelandria on the other hand, kept on slicing the Boys and once their Boss fell, the two remaining Orcs dropped their weapons and ran outside the courtyard, coming into the view of another grisly scene. Constantine stood in the middle of Wolf Rider corpses, dead wolves and goblins lying all around him as their blood dropped from his dark swords. Seeing the two Orcs, Thomas sprang at them, showcasing speed that wouldn't be off on some Druchii warlord, crossing the distance in three strides and with two precise blows, executed both of the Orcs - one falling down gurgling blood as the blade penetrated the main artery in his neck while the other dropped as Thomas punched the sword through his eye. Quickly after that, there were no more sounds of battle coming around and they could all hear Merchant Keller running out of the tower, falling on the ground and kissing the snow which by now, stopped falling. "PRAISE ULRIC FOR HIS DELIVERANCE! I will donate a hefty sum for his temple once we reach Wolfenburg! Oh thank the gods, we are saved!" OOC small update to allow us to wrap this combat up. The mission will officially end with my next update tomorrow in the evening
Kristoff was rather surprised when a giant piece of masonry smashed the Orcs attacking Mariah. While dangerous as it could have killed her, he couldn't deny that it was effective. With the Orcs around him dead, he charged in to assist Tuska in slaying the big boss. Vorgen strode ahead of him, his target already picked to support his brother. With great agility and speed the Arctic wolf easily worked his was way between the boar and Tuska, and began tearing at its throat, ripping out its jugular with ease, blood matting his pure white fur. The boss fell off, and in a rage prepared to kill the dumb mutt that ruined his favorite pig! That was cut short as a warhammer smashed into the beasts back, promptly breaking it and causing the mighty Orc to fall before the wolf. Standing above his broken for, Kristoff raised his frost bitten hammer high into the air, offering this great victory to his wintery god. "ULRIC ABSOLUT HERRSCHEN!" He bellowed as he drove the hammer into the beasts chest, smashing into a pulpy mass of gore and bone. After such a glorious battle, Ulric knelt down and took time to give Ulric proper praise for his favor, offering up each kill in his honor. After that he cut off the head of the big boss and ripped out one of its larger tusks to keep as a trophy, while grabbing the head to take to Constantine. As he walked he brought his attention to Tuska, who had once again fought well beside him. @TuskatheDaemonKilla "Another fine kill we got here, well fought Orc. Ulric rejoices in this victory."
@Colapse Mariah pushed one Ork back with her shield, giving her space to work. She then, with a quick slash, split open the neck of the Ork in front of her. Seeing that the rest of the enemies had been slain, she wished to ensure that the rest of the mercenaries were alright. She called out around her, "Gather up men. Time to regroup and mend wounds." She honestly did not know if any had survived minus the captain, but she had hope. This way, perhaps the could persuade them to stay and help them. After all, this was a paying job.
As he had succefully made his intrance, and actually been rather happy with how the stone throwing had gorne, he had to remember to throw more stuff. they had won, the ork boss was dead, alot of snow had fallen in a short time, witch Tugg did find very strange, he hadent really cared about i during the fight, but it was strange, anyhow, it wasent like he was gonna get cold. surely they would have to stay the night, and then Tugg could cook some food, though this time he would also roast and grill food, sadly the snow had killed spices and herbs in the area, or atleast Tugg couldent find them, but hopefully ork, tasted better than goblin, the tuskies and boar surely would
