Jorge was right in front of Leopold as he started yelling. His family was known for sleeping very little. Unhealthily little. "Drive People Insane" little. "What needs to be done, you said?"
"Alrighty." He turned around and spotted two awfully young young lads. "You two! Come over 'ere 'n' help with the barrels! AND NO STEALING!" He turned to Leopold again. "Let's hope they heard me and will actually help."
The young lads quickly reponded, "yes sirs, but what do we get for this?" They where used to sudden small jobs sometimes showing up at the habour.
OOC: Now, how much would someone normally pay them? I was thinking about... 5-15 spanish reales. Is that too much?
OOC: Alrighty. IC: Jorge thought for a second. "...8 reales each." He took 8 coins (Each one worth 2 reales (Yay, I know how spanish reales work!)) and split the small pile of coins evenly, so he had 4 in each hand. He started moving them around, the sound of coins really obvious. From his experience he knew that people reacted much more foolishly when they could see or hear the money being moved around, and they usually chose to sell or work for you for a lower prize.
The boys looked greedely at the reales, but then the one that looked slightly older than the other said, "We ant 14 reales, this is heavy work" he said surely, though having a hard time looking away from the money at hand
"10." He said as he hid a malicious grin behind his serious, cold face. He hid it pretty well, only a trained interrogator would be able to spot it. He then added one more coin to each hand, and the sound became much louder. If they didn't hurry up someone else would come around and steal their job.
"okay okay, so how do we help you?" The boys said, one rolling up the sleeves of a shirt much too big.
