Orks also only have the ace dakka as a long range weapon to remove the large number of guns pointing out. And thats got its own problems making it less fun now. The ork strat is to charge the guns like cannon fodder otherwise and die in droves and hope some lucky nades get kills/a sneaky rokkit gets in position to start dropping enemy tickets. If kannon eats too many nerfs ork win rates on maps like maggon will drop a pretty significant amount I bet. So something else will have to take its spot for making impact on an entrenched point. I vote we go back to the old elctro axe. That was fun and tbh about the only time I ever actually enjoyed ork melee. Plus you knew an ork woas gonna P attack so why not just fast attack to counter...Arg its irritating.
Well, to say they nerfed the Skip Launcher because someone said as a joke during one of the streams it was OP, with the reason the following stream described as. "It was confusing to be killed by." Which, If anyones seen any of the Skip Launcha Meta vids- yeah. I'm just waiting for- Loyalist Space Marines losing games was actually a bug. Or something to that effect making it's way in to the patch notes one of these days.
To unlock its potential you need to get good at lobbing its snapshot - the frag-grenades. Simply using its charged shot as you would with normal kannons simply makes it an inferior kannon in most situations. The Napalm Kannon's frag-grenade is special, because, like the charged shot, it applies a full burn-meter that rapidly downs the target, while allowing the Napalm to keep up a comparatively higher rate of fire than the normal Kannon for the same effect of downing and panicking the enemies.
As @Khornatian said. You can also bounce the grenades off walls around corners, making you able to hit things you otherwise wouldn't. Balconies in particular are vunerable to this, though you do have to put yourself in the firing line to be able to bounce it properly.
Getting braced reload for the kannon took 4 to 5 month's or something? Kannon nerf because of whiney LSM crybabies is 2 or 3 month's further than braced reload fix, tops? Anyone happen to know if I'm correct on this?
