A2, 3 is on the to-do list. One of my eyes laughing, and one of my eyes crying... One is laughing because now i can afford stuff I need as a working man (a new rig for example which can run those effortlessly), and one is crying because I would need another me to play all the passed games in the past years because of lack of time.
Heh, that's a painfull dillema: Crysis 3 or Far Cry 3? Speaking bout laughing, don't laugh too early: i had so many troubles running Arma 2 on GEFORCE GTX 560 that I finally stopped, OFP 1 runs much more smoothly (ofc after disabling all the advanced options and running it in a raw form, I dunno maybe I'll have to do the same on A2, didn't try yet).
Really, the GTA 560 was having problems ?? What is your CPU spects ? dule core? That Video Card should run A2 as if the game was not even running ..
The game was crashing very. very often, sometimes slowed down as f***k. I had the same with OFP1 untill I disabled all the advanced graphic options. I guess these games are too old for my card and thus not compatible but maybe I'm wrong I dunno. I can run Crysis 2 on ultra high settings with no problems whatsoever...but not Arma 2.
I now have a 610 GT card 2 gig ram, with a i5 Quard Core (3.20) 6 gig of ram .. and I can play A2 in full FX and mid level in A3 ... A2 test with the Pre release Wh40K II mod (100 tanks ,100 blood pack vs 100 Cadian 8th, 100 Leman Russ tanks) It was KURSK all over again ..
Yeah, the older cards work much better with A2, I noticed that on my friends computers. Heheh, I'll certainly give A2 with your mod a second go, maybe my CPU is too weak but that's really strange as A2 was the only game I had any problems with on such specifications. Anyway, I'll try that again some time soon. And by the way, thanks for all the missions for OFP1 Wh40k mod - they blew my mind . I've got some mine too and i rememeber some of your mods were angry that people don't send their own misssions only download, when I have some spare time I'll make descriptions to them and send them to your website.
great to hear.. I am Hoping for Much more for the FINAL CW40K release (Invasion of Vraks) .. once all the units are done. I also Hope we do as well in A2 as we have in OFP.
I run Arma2 on a laptop, in reasonable (1280x720) resolution and High textures. My laptop is like 1.8ghz i3, so it should run fine with a decent vid card. I just use "intel HD 4000" Arma2 isnt that bad anymore.
