What 40k game obeys lore completely?? None, adhering to lore is more of a crutch than a guarantee of quality. A good 40k game is good because it's core gameplay is fun! Strictly adhering to the lore (much like the codex astartes) doesn't mean your game will be awesome.
I like the list and what you plan with the Subfactions, you do not disappoint! Can't wait to see the specialties with the Subfaction classes later ingame. How it will turn out with non Psyker Chapters/Warbands, I'm really thrilled!
Is there a possibility of getting Mekboys as an actual class with specific weaponry and abilities/skills?
I suppose mek will be hero class. He is part of ork kultur and can't be removed and we already saw him on faction art preview.
I don't think so. Given that we already have Painboyz, Apothecaries, Aspiring Sorcerers and Warlocks as regular classes I'd say it would be safer to assume that we'll get a whole set of mechanic classes some time after launch. It would hardly be balanced if Orks had Mekboyz capable of repairing and buffing vehicles (and let's forget about the Devastator heresy for a moment) while the other factions didn't have a dedicated "mechanical support class" or something. On the other hand, if Mekboyz couldn't do those things better than anyone with a Repair Kit, well, that'd simply suck.
I think a majority of the work is still being done on them, at least all the little details and stuff. I'm perfectly happy with waiting for a while if it means they'll eventually be put in. Also do the Eldar even have a "mechanic class"? I never really kept up with them and haven't heard mention of any.
