Wait til the -DLB- and -Waagh Boyz- get to playing on Orks. It will be terrifying, they are already hard as heck when they play any factions. I am excited to just get more factions in. More people and content is always epic !
Orks play to my style of gaming, which is generally belligerent and completely uncaring of danger. I treat my characters as dead as soon as I log in so I don't bother being subtle or preservation minded. One time in planetside2 we were fighting in the sea beds and basically two sides had set spawners right behind a pair of ridges opposite each other. Everyone was just taking shots since the area between the ridges was lengthy and flat. But me and a buddy were like screw that and charged across the gap by ourselves. He's got the same attitude as I do. I don't know if it was surprise or volume of fire from behind us but we made it to the ridge line, lobbed grenades over top, then followed in with assault rifles. It was stupid and ill thought out but it was glorious and fun. And that's how orks should be.
This of course begs the question: What will main Ork players play as alts? I'd find it absolutely amusing if Ork RP players still acted Orkish when playing an Eldar for instance heh.
I act Orkish when I play but that's by virtue of having cockney parents! But I would guess Chaos or possible Eldar. If you don't play SM as main you kinda have an aversion to playing them even for giggles.
Coming up on Thursday and still no overview of this Friday's twitch. Inb4 "Next week will be eldar" boys.
When it comes to live streams, am I the only one who like, downloads it as an MP3, listens to it (To absorb the information better) THEN watches the live stream? Of course... I used to do that. Before they contained so much gameplay. (Not saying it's a bad thing.)
Yup. Chaos Space Marines, to be fair, are still Space Marines, so I'll also be giving them a pass. Eldar and possibly an Ork just for the dakka.
