Great post. It emphasizes one thing not many ppl are aware of yet; this team's actions are inconsistent, they go 1 step forward then two back. Nathan is the best example, I think he's slowly losing the touch with reality, maybe his sickness is something really serious. He doesn't even know what EC now is, how to define it, he's lost in his labirinth of absurd and meaningless words - that is never a good sign when the head of the team is drifting away from reality.
Either way, regardless of when this patch comes... I think it will make or break this game. If campaigns are shit, that will be the death knell for this game. Big guilds will likely lose interest....and right now they are the main drivers for player population.
I think you are drifting away from reality Blade. One step forward and two steps back? Do you understand what this phrase means? The game is better now than it has ever been and new features are being added all the time. The inventory is the latest example. New maps have been added. New cosmetics are due to be added for Eldar next patch (or they might already be in?). Grav Guns coming up etc. As to P_Dilz, is he honestly trying to persuade us that people that log in once a month do so by accident? Ridiculous. He is also forgetting one key point; Bamco pushed the launch.
I am kinda glad. Next weekend I'm gonna be spending most of it dressed up as the drunken undead. I'll have just about recovered/been exorcised in time for the big patch!
I'm not surprised of the schedule slip, tbh. Slightly upset but I'm somewhat of a patient man. Still hanging onto this thing for all it's worth
Well from release it looks for me they are more like walking in circles... 4 weeks and I am playing the same game. If we had good launch with ready game then it wont be a problem. But game was far from ready and launch was poor.
I dunno whether the "big patch" makes or breaks it for them it will for me. I got other games coming out next week that will be more than enough to keep me occupied a good long while if it's a dissapointment.
In November we will have Space Hulk: Deathwing and Disonored 2, so online of Shitty Crusade will be like 90-100 in the best case.
honestly i think the damage is already done and we are all the fools for dishing out money for this my self included, we all hoped for a decent 40k shooter with rpg elements and team play, what instead we got was rushed and unfinished, Unless they pull something pretty spectacular out im afraid the game is already dead I really hope i am wrong i really hope that this get all sorted but what im playing right now i only enjoy cause of the community the game is just there to share our likes of 40k with others
What? WE WANT IT NOW AND PERFECT OR WE WILL WHINE! Seriously, I have worked game code. There is NOTHING simple about it. It will take as long as it takes. If people don't want to wait, no one is stopping them from leaving. If the game fails because of too much time taken, well... Sad, but not time to throw yourself off a cliff or bridge. There is being impatient and then there is being stupid. There IS a difference.
