I think if we want to balance game and we all know who is the maim unbalanced faction - we should evade playing against them. Because you can see who are you matched against. If you are against eldar - leave and re-enter the search for a game. Untill they are fixed. So we can eliminate the bugged race from the game without removing it.
I'm sure the Devs were wandering around lost and confused not knowing how to make their game better before this post. Doing Gods work man.
To be perfectly honest, we're lucky we even have a launch. This game was on deaths door from the tomfuckery that was Miguel and the cash I'm SURE he hemorrhaged. Eternal Crusade was damn near Dark Millennium'd. Guarantee. Nathan and the devs made the best thing they could out of a steaming carcass of pipe dreams. They can only go UP from here.
They were rushed under a time constraint they had no control over, and the cosmetics, the entire thing about them feels placeholder or forced, like they HAD to have cosmetics at launch.
That's because your standing upside-down... under the map... How did you do that glitch? You gotta show me! Also, would it be a good idea if the Devs made an extra lobby that is for competitive play like Blizzard did with Overwatch? This would help make sure Newbies and Regulars don't mix to much and would most likely help focus on where the development team can narrow down. I can understand if the Drawback of dividing the player base would be too great(and I think it would be to great honestly) But it could be something to look into. I got other ideas that could work if some of you are interested. http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/ideas-for-objectives.58547/
Commissioner Gordon: "I don't think he'll show up tonight." Police Sergeant: "Why wouldn't he come?" CG: "Hopefully... because he's busy." But more likely because it's 9:30 PM on a Friday in Montreal and he's settling in for bed.
I think Competitive would need extra rewards worth going for for anyone capable of competing. Otherwise Regulars looking for an easy stomp will just queue up for Casual mode. Overwatch avoids that because its Casual mode has a built-in MMR tool to further differentiate players based on their skill. Given how close everyone is to a 50-50 win-loss percentage in Overwatch, it seems to be a highly effective one.
