I´m a founder sitting on 100k RTC. I play an Iron Warrior. I bought a few helmets. And now there is like nothing i care to buy. Not a single thing. After the torsos get fixed i might get one of those. But currently? 1) RT weapons. I´m not buying guns i can´t mod. Period. If these were skins i would probably buy half of them. 2) Customization. I bought some helmets. Everything else isn´t really worth anything for me (again Iron Warrior). The torsos pieces are bugged and the advanced armors even kill the color scheme ( I`M A SILVER WARRIOR WITH SILVER TRIM AND SILVER ARMOR). I don´t really care much to improve the visuals of my completely wrong looking Marine. I watched last stream and suddenly it hit me. There wasn´t even something announced to me that i care to spend money on. So i started to reread old announcements. Couldn´t find anything i care about.
Pretty much. As is i have bought one shoulder pad, the dragon one. Everything else seems focus on word bearers with their deamony bits or completly pant on head idotic with those cartoony horns. Nothing screams alpha legion, even the dedicated chest piece is a shitty texture instead of actual scale geometry. Don't even get me started on eldar. 10$ for a fucking helmet reskin thats locked to the class? Fuck you bE.
As far as i have heard the reskinned helmets are supposed to be full skins and are "only" broken currently.
^ Sheesh, so much anger, does swearing on their forums make you feel better? Word Bearers barely have anything either, actually none of the factions or races have much, besides Orks, they got a TON of stuff last minute. All we can do now is wait, I might just take a break off the game for a couple of months because there's barely anything atm. I've got plenty of other games to keep me occupied while they update/patch/fix/balance/add content. I would suggest you do the same seeing as how there's nothing we can do but wait.
It does seem silly that the company clearly needs more money yet they don't create much of the content people have to pay for.
I would rather they worked on the Optimization and Bugs. I know not everyone feels this way. People have always liked to make their characters look unique and just the way they want them to be.
Bugs are fixed by programmers. Content is created by artists. So there is no reason not to do both at the same time. Fairly disappointed in cosmetics myself.
To be fair, the customization options for both Eldar and LSM are fairly dull. LSM has a few nice looking weapons, but I don't like them enough to spend RTC on them. I'm keeping my 40k RTC until something good actually comes up. Or they finally implement ways to get RTC in the game. Coz right now, theres nothing I 'really' want in the RTS. The LSM pauldrons for BA are fairly dull. That said I'll probably get a chest piece once I can earn RTC
