Sure, but at software level implementation is often problematic and leads to bugs and possibly optimization problems, (and therefore, community whine) then they have to fix them, which diverts more resources towards visual customization, slowing down other truly meaningful tasks. From my accurate investigation BHVr is threading on very thin ice, and another error or bad decision making at this point could potentially lead them into the warp leaving EC with a very small playerbase, and a shitload of people angry about the game.
Ah, so those are specific legions... allow me to show my ignorance. So when they developed the original 4 chaos marine options they didn't base them each on the four gods, right? Thats a pity. I have read some books but not many and I do know that some CSM are considered "traitor" marines even though they are not chaos and may infact still serve the Emperor (I know, I know... HERESY!) but one of the first books I read that involved Traitor marines was the Soul Drinkers. It's kind of unfortunate that we as the players weren't given more power to customize our chapters and select options that could be based on the original chapters... but I guess that was part of the plan.
Yeh even if the base armour got upgrade to fleshy bits. The amount of times i run past a chaos player in basic armour and mistake it for a dark angel... More Flesh!! that being said, all factions need upgrades. really wish this game had a more experienced team with decent funding. Things would get done.
Yeah, and I think it was the Iron Warriors when they where first introduced that where easily mistaken for Apothecaries.... lol.
Those are specifically colored by legion colors, so they belong to those particular legions. However the "types" of marines you posted in the picture (Plague Marine, Noise Marine, Khorne Berzerker) are not legion specific units, and can thus be added to the game (visually or mechanically) without the need of adding the 4 Cult legions.
