Was actually talking to a friend about this a few months ago. I thought that too few games use the style of formula of Telltale games. A story heavy (with maybe more that just quick time events like in their other games,) would be amazing for the Horus Heresy even if it would never be canon. Start off as a Luna Wolf and let the player decide if he falls or not and let it branch organically from there.

    Boom, awesomeness.

Ive never played any of telltale games and i probably never will, because i dont like quick time events, and GOT.

The perfect for me would be a RPG tactical shooter, basically. Mass Effect, but in W40K universe, and more choices, letting the player decide the events and what the main character will do, like in Fallout New Vegas (extensively) and Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, Neverwinter Nights, Pillars of Eternity....

But like i said it would end up being more as Mass Effect and KOTOR 1 and 2. Because in all those games no matter what you do you always go through the same planets and missions. Its just that sometimes the way you go through them that changes.

So just like in a HH game because your character would get deployed as the warmaster and your captains and etc decide. And you would end up following through all of the main events like the novels. But that also leaves tons of room for some roleplaying in the fleet, and your character could get promoted or not... and could end up following Loken, and fighting in Isstvan 3 as the loyalists, or as a traitor... If as a loyalist you could end being saved by Garro months later maybe, or you could have sided with Loken in your heart, like Iacton Qruze, but not made public your opinions, so you werent deployed to Isstvan 3, and you then would flee with Iacton and Keeler to the Eisenstein.. and either way ending up on terra for the final battle.

That is my dream game lol.

considering how many license telltales have used even of other video games they only miss a warhammer game now.
