  1. Well I do prefer Mk V Heresy armour over Mk VI Corvus for Chaos Astartes.

    absolutely have ear wings they're so iconic and raptors and warp talons should both have wings and jump packs, dont rip off illaden from WoW, have embossed night lords insignia on shoulder pad and flesh capes and of course spikes
  3. I don't want a flesh cape, or to display the flayed skin of my victims on my armour (they take a lot of cleaning).
    I want to display the bones of my victims and enemies on my armour. I want metal coated skulls hanging off my armour as trophies.
    I want a combat blade made from the thighbone of an Astartes who followed The False Emperor.

    There's a lot of things I could have made of bone or add bone inlay to.
    I could even have some scrimshaw!

    Maybe we could propose an optional form of appearance.

    Helmets: (All have optional Batwings)
    Mark 4 Maximus, Somewhat warped and spiked
    Terror Squad helmet
    Mark 6 Warped Aquila

    Shoulders:
    Left/Right shoulder bares the Skull and Wings (Must)
    Left/Right shoulder Mark 5 Heresy Pattern with the studs
    Left/Right Shoulder Mark 4 with Ribcage stretched over it
    Left/Right Shoulder Mark 4 With Stretched face over it

    Chest:
    Optional Additional Armours from RT
    Ribcage over the chest
    Skull and Wings Emblem with decorated markings
    Skulls and chains with hooks attached to the Ceramite plating

    Legs:
    Mark 4 With spikes and Chains merged into it
    Mark 5 Studded with hanging skulls from the belt
    Mark 6 With Spiked knee pads

    Backpack:
    Partially Warps and Misshapen vents with skulls and chains hanging from the parts

    I have a few more views in this thread.

    I used Maya to make some of the basic shapes, then I pulled that into Zbrush to paint and sculpt damage marks.

    I'll see if I can make some of the ideas you proposed since I have all of the armour variants modeled with the exception of Mark II and Mark III.

  9. Mk VI doesn't have an Aquila or kneepads. I think you've confused Mk VII for Mk VI.

    Would be really cool for NL to have a special type of ammo that screams all over the place when fired, so enemies don't know the location of the shooter, confused as they are since the screams don't sound in an specific area.

    That idea of comms disruption being louder when a Nl approaches was also great, it sounds really annoying and dissorienting. Other idea I have is that, when shooting a NL, not all hitmarkers are shown, or even some false hitmarkers appear on the HUD, just to confuse and make the battle more opressive and stressful when facing a NL.
