For the life of me I cannot stop the forums from sending me an email every time a thread I've commented on receives a reply. I keep going to my preferences and "unchecking" the box that says "email me every time there's a reply". I uncheck the box and SAVE. Two minutes later I get a new email...

There are two things you can select. The first one will select your future preference, when writing in a thread or starting a new one. This is directly on the preferences sheet.

In that sheet you have a navigation for "Watched Threads". There should be a list of all threads watched with unread posts. At the bottom of the list should be a Link "show all watched threads".

There you can check the box next to the name of the thread you don't want to follow. In the select box at the end of this list, select "Disable email notification" and click on the "Go" button.

The work around might do the trick, but what's the problem with the "email me" box in preferences? Can it not be fixed to function as intended if you uncheck the box, without all the mess involved with trying work arounds?

The "email me" check box seems to be only the "from now on, when I write in a thread" setting.
If you click on "More Options" when writing a post to a thread, there is the option to disable the notification for this specific thread. So I assume the "email me" option in the first preferences page is connected with the preset in the threads "More Options".

In general I think the checkbox itself is ok, but it would be nice to have a "stop all active notifications" button or something like that at a more prominent spot. Also the description of the check box could be more self-explanatory, so I agreed somehow with you.

In the contact section of my forum account there is a tick box that states;

Receive email when a new conversation message is received
Email notifications for new conversations, replies to existing conversations, and being added to an existing conversation.

If I untick this box and press save I get; "The following error occurred:your existing password is incorrect"
How do I untick this option.

Ok, tried something with success on both notification problems!

Go to your Preferences, the first option is the board style, which is Eternal Crusade V2.1 per default. Change it to Eternal Crusade V2.

That fixed the "E-Mail notification for new conversations..." box and the "Automatically watch threads... and receive email notifications" problem.

Edit: Also, with that style, there is a Log Out button, but it doesn't work. It seems to be overwritten by the main site login.

I was clicking on some of the different avatars that the different forum members use and seen that the members info that is on the right side is now over lapping on to the members avatar.

Not sure if this is just on my end i did click on different ones but it was the same on all...Thought i would send it in.
