What new race would YOU like to see?

    preemptively nerf radium carbines
  2. Necrons. Imagine the Uproar "First time playable Necrons!"

    High Toughness, No Support classes, no Shields, every class heals over time.
    When getting downed, their Bleedout-Meter restores itself slowly, unless you choose to bleed-out manually.
    Slow movement-Speed, almost no sprint benefit, but able to recall to every capture Point & Vehicle (with a cooldown)

    It would add a totally new fighting-style to the game

  4. The problem is that implementing the IG like this wuld be nothing like the IG in 40k. Most guardsmen are badly equiped (relatively), and are there to be cannon fodder. There are elite troops, but even they can't go toe to toe with a space marine or even an eldar or ork.

    The basic guardsman should have a lasrifle with bayonet, small frag grenades (not comparable to SM-issue frags), and flak armor that is even weaker than the Eldar's. Basically, it should be equivalent to the Tyranid Teromgaunts in PvE, and it should be an NPC class that spawns en masse.

    By all means, IG armor is trash. Their best armor, carapace, is barely on the same level as the Eldar default armor. The IG's weakness would be their lack of mobility and resilience, and their strenght would be their numbers, versatility and massive firepower, minly coming from armored vehicles, artillery and airstrikes, and deployed heavy weapons.

    Player controlled classes should be:

    Should have a variety of weapon choices, hotshot lasers, melta, plasma, and even autoguns (not autocannons!). Should have passive cloaking ability. It would be the ranged archetype.

    Heavy Gunner
    This would be different from other factions, because this one would have to deploy its gun first. Should have a sidearm, and the bolter / las cannon / auto cannon / mortar that he carries should come with its own tripod, so it could be deployed anywhere. The loss of mobility and the need to deploy would be compensated by a greater choice of weapons, and maybe better accuracy and more tolerance to overheating. Also, maybe a shield mod for the gun, which would work like a weaker stormshield when the gun isdeployed (obviously, mortars would not have this).

    Ratling Sniper
    Pretty obvious. A highly mobile, small profile champ with sniper weapons.

    This would be a support class, but not in the same sense as others. This guy should be able to call artillery barrages and airstrikes, and give buffs to nearby teammates.

    CQC specialist with an auto shotgun.

    I would play the game until they shut it down and buy every DLC if they added Dark Eldar and made them good.
