I wish they stop publishing that pre-alpha cr@p - progress reports are good when progress could be seen somehow. Mostly it is ugly proportioned models what irritates me in those videos.
I'm a active player of Space Marine and when I watch this videos I get so disappointed. Grotty animations and gameplay. I hope the final game will be better than Space Marine. Doesn't have much sense launch a game that is the same but worse than one launched I think... I don't pay for this
It's pre-alpha so I won't judge it until I see the final product. I'm sure their intentions are to release a game with better visuals than "Space Marine". The Rhino combat looked pretty cool though I don't know why they had dishes on the back of them.
I hope the Rhino will get a few tons added i know its pre alpha but having a rhino roll over and bounce around like that seems wrong.
They obviously have a lot of work to do, but looking at what they have on the table now, they should be able to comfortably release in late 2015. I just hope that Chaos have a different organisation/feel to the Imperium's Marines, as right now both factions look the same.
So far for pre alpha this is *censored*ing AMAZING before people start getting mad this is again PRE-AlPHA 50% games look like that in BETA THIS IS PRE-ALPHA not beta not alpha but pre alpha this is insane the devs have this down so far for pre-alpha there are many things to be done but we have lots of time till 2015 for them to hammer out some of the major bugs and maybe show some of the other factions maybe ya know , what nobody ? Maybe my dad ( 9001 e-cookies to whoever gets that reference hint* youtuber ) but yea ranged could use a buff but other than that so far for pre-alpha we're looking good though other factions maybe eldar v orks for a video eventually in the near future.
It's a cosmetic thing. The Rhino models come with dishes, if you want them. The one thing I didn't like is how so much damage was done to the chaos Rhino with a twin linked bolter.
The video was quite interesting to watch but i really did not enjoy that the space marines seemed to have a shield mechanic that can recharge when out of combat for a bit does not seem very 40k to me.
That's how it worked in Relic's space Marine as well, if you didn't play it. While not very "40k-like", it does work pretty well in the game.
