I dont have rockets neither with LSM or CSM or a lascannon without a lazor allerting the whole map about my location.Eldar dont even have a lascannon.
    Assymetrical balance !

  2. You are mistaken, watch the video again. the first tank he kills is being hit my the yellow predator(the one he kills second) and the heavy bolter on the ridge, on top of him melting it and placing a bomb. This is evident in the fact that the second tank he kills takes two half burns and a melta to finish it off, versus a half burn and a melta bomb. Those vehicles are functionally identical and should have taken the same time to kill unless he had help from somewhere

The second tank he kills isn't being hit by anyone, and actually lasts the longest seeing as it took him essentially one whole burn and his meltabomb to down it.

First off, Rhinos have much less durability than the Predator. Secondly it took that melta one full burn and the start of another before the Rhino went down.

Orks may not be able to down enemy vehicle the same as a SM/CSM, but they can avoid situations like this one by not doing what those idiots did. Also where we may have vehicle superiority, Orks can soak up bolter fire and crush most of our units in melee, you also have the WAAAAAGH where as we don't.

So don't use your trucks to try to hide a respawn point, haul ass around the map and let people jump out where they are needed. You don't have to stop for them to get out, and you can ram people who left their vehicle sitting out like a dumbass. Also you can run people over.

Their flamers can act as blow torches in melee range in the TT...

  4. That part I actually do know (didn't they count as power weapons in melee at some point?), but since we're not getting any flamers.. :(

The Burna could be set for anti-vehicle work. Essentially it was a flamer/melta gun in one. Made Orks even more scary for lots of reasons in close combat.

WE MIGHT. IF they ever get the lag under control.

  6. Man, Orks seriously lost an all-purpose tool there.

They did.But its not as if they are without options at the game right now(bugs aside).

That they did. Can you IMAGINE the salt if they got flamers AND meltaguns in one weapon?

You may not have noticed this, since you don't play orks. But when I park my Trukk next to a cap point I have space marines running through 5 players just to throw a melta and then die. Genuine suicide runners. And the works part is that it works.
It's the suicide stunt from DoW1 intro with the dreadnaught. Except the space marines are doing it.

Truks are fragile. They get stuck. Map design makes paths for them narrow. It takes a melta marine with bomb somewhere between 5-6 seconds to down a Truck.
If I use a zapp gun it takes me 5-6 shots. Each and every single one charged for 3 seconds, with cooldown time inbetween. And I'm sitting duck while doing it. Any driver who parks it in cover forces me to run in the open and have a sticker on my back: heavy attack here.
Will not even comment on rokkit launcher. It requires close range due to rockets going off trajectory into the randomness and has pitiful damage compared to most alternatives.
You get none of those disadvantages with melta.

You can't even comprehend how fast 6 seconds is compared to 26, can you ? The driver could die before he switches slots if he is too late in reacting. Map design makes driving around the point impossible sometimes and difficult whenever it's possible. Unlike wave serpent which can go sideways, trucks get stuck when they hit something.
And game design makes drivers the lowest point people in the game. While you melta boys farm points.

You can't even comprehend the basic thing that gives you immense advantage in combat vs orks.

How are you so blind ?

We either need a driver who gets no points or lose all our transport. And since this game requires points to advance, nobody wants to be a dedicated driver.

IF IZ GET ME ANDS ON YUZ MELTA BOYS, I'D TEAR YUZ LIMB FROM LIMB AND LEAVE DA GUSHI BITZ FER CHOPPA PRACTICE!

Rokkits are near useless and few if anyone uses them. I've already mentioned the zzap kannon which you conveniently ignored.

@Engineer-Omega I have watched it again and I still don't see what you're talking about with the 1st tank. Further more even if there was BOTH a predator and a heavy bolter attacking it. A) The heavy bolter damage to vehicles was DRASTICALLY reduced and the predator damage can be seen as he destroys the 3rd tank to be minuscule at best.

Even if the 2nd tank lasts the longest, he was still able to kill it in 7 seconds which stupidly short for the maximum amount of time. The power klaw again, takes ~2-3 seconds per power attack and a rhino being attacked on it's rear armor takes about 3-5 hits to down. Because that's a predator it'd take at least 4-6 hits. That means at minimum it takes 8 seconds. He was even attacking the front of the predator for the most part.

Orks beat these situations by simply not being a part of it? That's like saying to fix the eldar being OP just avoid them. Orks get an extra 50 health, that's 2 bolt rounds, at the cost being 1.5-2x wider than marines. Kind of balances out. WAAAGH is a handicap on certain maps because it even goes off when defending a fortress. Coupled with the fact that it doesn't even go off most of the time. And everything you say about how to protect our vehicles you can do as well. So it doesn't effect the discussion because orks are still objectively worse if our strategies work out the same for you, but you also have better options.
