And you can clearly tell that extra bit added on the helmet is a different shade of red, and doesn't blend in at all.
What shoddy work. $5 for that?

I just wonder how could gw approve astartes who came back to their original chapters just put inquisition symbols on their armor(inquisition, not deathwatch symbols) without having deathwatch shoulderpad...yea sure, that happened. especially on space wolves

Problem is nowhere in the description does it say it's supposed to be deathwatch. It says those that have served sometimes wear the icon. Also the old (I) looked like that 1 released. Next the helmet is spot on in looks, now whether it's metal or chapter colors is up to interpretation. I checked the helmet against my models so that bit is accurate.

I had a look to the new cosmetics for LSM and I'm quite bothered that the emblem used is that of the Inquisition whereas the texts describe it as being a Deathwatch marking.

Here's an Inquisition emblem (see how similar it is to the one on the new cosmetics):


Here's a Deathwatch emblem:


The differences are noticeable so I don't understand why and how there could have been a confusion. And if you were not mistaken, please tell us the story behind the actual markings.
