General forums is where complaints should go so they can be discussed. Bugs should be reported, which is handily linked in the same forums. Convenient isn't it? NOW FIX THE MASSIVE LIST I KEEP SENDING YOU~.
Please redirect all complaint threads to the Eldar subforum. General is for shitposting and shitposting only. NOW REPORT THE FUCKING BUGS. NO, NOT THE 'NIDS, SMARTASS.
General Thread is for discussions. Sure we got a lot of Whine-posts, but sometimes there are really pressing matters here that should be discussed
Just a shame most them devolve into massive flame wars, usually between two people who can't agree on something (trust me, I went and read the recent post on how melee should be reworked). The way a lot of these threads go makes me think one of two things: 1) "If you could do better than the devs, then why don't you go make your own game?" and 2) "Why are you still playing this game if you hate it so much?"
I dont think its a bad idea at all. Forum subsections: NEWS FROM BHVR THE GOOD (whats cool, what could be added, suggestions etc.) THE BAD (what are the issues, what should go) THE UGLY (off topic) throw in some faction subforums and done. No more founders subforums and other needles crap.
That is why I created this thread idea because that's how a great many threads go, personally I find it entertaining but at the same time I would rather have a normal discussion rather than a war between people. Don't get me wrong I believe in criticizing the game after all that is what makes them better, and this game does have a great many flaws.
That wasn't the point of my thread I don't want any censoring like a "dark corner" I do believe in discussions and getting the point down on topics just to me it seems most desolve into chaos quic depending on the topic. If I were to slap the section anywhere it would be under the general button in the forum selection area. But that's me. All aside there is plenty of work this game needs and the devs have to do something to give us hope.
Whine/flame threads may be undesirable but...they are a necessary evil. When shit is out of line, players complain, and the problems get fixed. Wherever you stand on any of the arguments doesn't matter, balance threads are needed. Oh yeah, you're welcome by the way. You see, the Eldar already filled up their own subforum with so many tears and so much salt of their own that they had to start using ours for storage. Our subforum is larger you see, one of the perks of being the more liked faction.
Only problem is that many threads start off innocent enough and then become "complaint" threads. If someone has an issue with the game they can report it to Customer Service. If someone wants to discuss an issue then that would be a discussion. Why would you make a complaint thread if it wasn't a discussion? No ones going to help you.
