Otherwise I as Ork player would be ok with a Rokkit Launcher that 2 Shots your Rinos. Have fun walking as we have atm.
Your comment make me laugh... such courtesy... I don't even use melta be it bombs or gun. And as a life guideline I always try to play fair. Tanks alone are not able to survive. None the less in your explanation I see something quite disturbing. You ran the transport and going on roadkill where your tank should be not able to got an other trip. Vehicles should take ramming damage and get speed and mobility restriction with levels of damage furthermore passengers inside véhicules ramming or being rammed should also be dazed by the blow... So you won't be able to be such a lame spirited player. My opinion about yourself is irevelant on the subject but your few words point to me some kind of mentality I can't stand... too bad for me have to make with it. Eldar are to be nerf or the other faction has to get a big boost for at least two of them. That's why you can exploit, because you play FD try it as a tac marine and you will see that those weapons are strong in their field of operation but not OP. That's the fact to be Eldar that mess with the game. EDIT Don't forget that rhino and variants are cans and no more, in actual warfare their role is fielded by armoured cars.
How you feel about the person quickly melting your vehicle is irreverent. I can do that on my marine too. Crash into you with a rhino or tank, get out and kill your vehicle before you can do anything. Mabye you dont think the problem is as bad as it is, but someday when all your vehicles are killed within 30 seconds of spawning and driving for the whole match, you will.
This Pretty much. Also, Multimelter should need 2 Bursts. Right now it's a little cheesy i have to admit (using melta on my own) But i would increase the effectivity against Infantry a little. Just a little-tiny bit
Respawn for Infantry = <20 sec. / For a Vehicle = what ? 5> min. or so TTK for Vehicle = 3 sec / TTK for Infantery = 3 sec Reasonable ! Great Balance ^^
noop. I got my chaos up to rank 4 by doing much the same thing. Its a little easier to roadkill with the wave serpent, sure. But a rhino is big enough to create a barrier, just use it to block the enemy and get out on the opposite side, theres enough time to almost fully discharge a meltagun before they can run around to reach me Eldar are better at the tactic in a few minor auxiliary areas - their vehicles and their agility, but the core problem is the meltagun and it works well with anyone who can get one
What about...what about if people is using the vehicles in a wrong way? I mean...a transport is in real life is used...for transport people! But in EC? Nope, people just rush with it to a point and left it as respawn point. Obviously it's going to be melted in seconds if the defenders are competent. What if the transports in EC should be used to transport people too, like in real life, and the respawn point is a secondary extra bonus? What if the rhinos/ serpents/ trucks, are filled with squads instead of run with them empty hoping that your squad will respawn from it later when you arrive? This way, it's much more harder to lose a transport before it deploys their troops, as you only need 2 seconds to deploy all of them. Even can deploy on the move if there is another transport as barricade and a melta gun approaches to it. Of course, as extra bonus the vehicle could work as respawn point too, but it should not have a very long life in this mode, because well used (deploying a full squad or even 10 players before), it's a huge advantage for the attackers. So IMHO, meltas are fine, it's the people who uses the vehicles wrong.
