Nerf that damn Melta NOW

    And Buff the Orcs AV Weapons, god damn it. You had Month Time to do your SM, now get this damn Orcs playable !

  2. Yeah, melta needs a slight nerf, i think something like a full charge should down a vehicle for a 3rd instead of a half so you have to discharge 3 times or 1.5 times and a melta bomb to take a vehicle down.

    Boyz AV also needs some tweaking, but them maybe they'l get a little too OP since they appear to be in a good spot right now.

    To make is very clear and easy: Meltabomb down to 50% of current Dmg / Melta down to 25%.

  6. So you're suggesting that 4 Melta Bombs or 8 overheats and the whole fuel cannister of a Melta Gun should be needed to down a single transport? o_O

    Wrong approach, the anti infantry HB. Storm bolter shoots on vehicles should be buffed instead, meaning close defender of a well placed vehicle is more possible.
  8. AV isn't that strong in fact. What you forget is tanks without infantry support is dead as a dodo.
    But, actually there is to few players by team to attack/defend cap points and defending vehicles.
    The easy way it to get less vehicles to protect ally wing all team members to spawn on a rhino or other, but keep the ability to move it to the squad spawning it. The other way is to get more players by team and a real understanding that if you wanna keep your tank some of us would get few exp by guarding it.

    Melta bombs and multi-melta are made to breach heavy armour even spaceship blast doors so nerfing them has no sense at all, but on the other hand defending spawn point should be reward as keeping cap points.

    Your infantry support makes me laugh. They are free XP

    As a fire dragon ill just hop in a wave serpent, ram your transport, roadkill everyone around it, hop out, melt it in four seconds and drive away again.

    There is no defense and i've been using this tactic all week to farm up a storm.
    By all means keep trying to convince yourself meltaguns are balanced. Most likely you're just abusing it for quick XP too, just like me

    The only thing that can stop me getting MVP every round using this tactic, is other fire dragons doing the same thing. Which they do, we compete for the rhinos like a herd of lions fighting over a scrap of meat. They are just meat to us, their health and defenses are nothing
