Nerf predictions? Or what teh hell

    @Cmdr_Bernard the funny thing with you is that you forget, you ranged AV arsenal. And the fist do work against mobile anti grav vehicle, for that I can just say git gud.

    You do not top any board with roadkill.
    Roadkill is easier on anti grav because of their mobility like it's easier to take damage because you have a bigger armor. I roll on a lot of people, even with a Rhino, why? Because vehicles don't make any noise in this game so people get rekt because they forget to rely on their sight when going in the clear (and even with sound I'm pretty sure people will be rolled over).

    You said you don't want to nerf too hard eldar but you complain about scorpion's invis and Hawk mobility...
    And about Eldar's weapon, humongous damage falloff, low ammo efficiency due to low dmg per hit and high RoF, High spread due to high RoF. What do they get for that? Bit higher dps and low recoil... low recoil.

    Excuse me but I did not complain about Invis I stated straight out I LIKE IT. but you can't deny that Eldar have more tools in forms of various powers that no faction besides them have even remotely. ANd Having done a bunch of Eldar today yeah I say the recoil /spread of eldar guns is nothing. testing a number of unmodified weapons I found nothing had a significant spread making kills at anything but point blank easy. Their guns dont really have a long time to kill at all, beyond easy to land at least 80-90% of the shots and I am not even the best shot :)

    And I did NOT complain about Hawk mobility I complained that Hawk mobility PLUS the use of a rifle capable of long range fire can be game breaking. I have argued that they either keep the mobility and become main weapon melee, or they go to mobility that is more limited.

    And having tested again today yes any tap with eldar vehicles appears to insta kill. I have yet to see one exception today whatsoever. Now yes ranged AV gear is a thing and it can work BUT that does not mean that it is justified for all close ranged AV to be ineffective on them. take a new player, gets some gear, knows he needs AV setups, he gets a melta bomb, or a powerklaw, things like that, if the driver of a eldar vehicle isn't brain dead then he will get tapped and insta die everytime he tries to use those. And sorry but powerklaw/fist doesnt work on Antigrav tanks and the like, the only way it does is if the driver pays no attention at all or ditched the vehicle leaving it unmanned, you can claim the Git Gud bs if you want but talking with players on the other factions as I played today there seems to be no one I can find who has ever seen a powerfist/klaw work on antigrav vehicles, the use simply insta gets roadkilled and the vehicle ignores the hit.


    Now when I said the I don't want the eldar too hard I am saying they do have broken aspects, things that need nerfing, fixing or even redesign entirely, HOWEVER they also need buffs in some areas, the trouble is as long as those aspects are too strong then you can't buff them. I am not saying they should be just nerfed hard. I am saying they need some changes that nerf some things and buff others at the same time.

    Have you seen other factions getting many roadkills? honestly I am curious as i near never see them happen with other factions. and I will agree especially up close the Eldar lack good gun options and the like. not to mention very little weapon diversity. if they got buffed I would love to see it start there. I can understand a player hopping in a tank for a default gun though sad thing is that means their foes get spammed with something too strong and see less of the guns underperforming up close. which means you get 3 out of 4 factions saying your guns are just fine/too good all around. Heh part of me wishes that to get rank 5 you had to have a rank 4 of all factions so everyone would get some experience in all the groups.

    I've experienced it first had... on the receiving end! I've hugged walls/ sides of roads in the same spots as I've seen a LSM do it. It that position, I couldn't run him over, but I've been run over by a Rhino in that spot. The Rhino grazed me at best, but I died. Hell, I've had a Rhino drive past and NOT touch me, but I died from it (I'm assuming a graphics to model size problem).

    Sorry mate. We seem to disagree on a lot of these issues. Nothing personal. :)

    When you use a powerfist/claw, you need to use a strong attack. I can assure you it works. I've tried to run over a guy with a power fist and to his credit, he stopped my grave tank in its tracks (so to speak). The hit did damage, he didn't die, and my grave tank was put into vehicle stun. I couldn't do anything. keep trying, you will get there. But, for the record, powerfist/claws are only AV as a secondary function. They are primarily anti-infantry.

    Power Fist/Klaw in EC is AV First and AI Second, as they kill vehicles just as fast as Lascannons but allow you to fight in Melee Combat too, and their stun just makes it near impossible to escape if they hits you once.
    You are right that you can just use the Heavy Attack to OHK enemies :D

    I agree that other Faction vehicles can kill Eldar very easily as they either just perma-stuns or outright kill you, especially reversing Rhinos and Predators seems to kill me with ease, even if they are only going 2km/h.

    You can kill people by lightly scratching them with the side of a Wave Serpent ^^

    Interesting, Thank you honestly that vid shows I think exactly what is wrong with Eldar vehicle kills, however I went into a match and tried to test it and yeah I see what you mean, seems with enough momentum the Rhino has some slight aura of stun status and if the driver knows they use that, though especially with Eldar it is not too hard to avoid so far, it is strange though how slow they can be and still stun. feels like the momentum programming in general needs work.

    Hmm to me I see powerklaw/fist as a all around weapon, good for infantry but tricky if mishandled, able to wreck carely and abandoned vehicles and one of the fastest ways to rip down fortifications. heck only av task they feel outright bad at sometimes is dealing with a Quadgun. but I see them as allowed for this since they cost a lot of lp and are so slow people get lots of time to react. as an update when I woke up I decided to try what you mentioned, there seems to be a very slight window where the hit can stun them however I stick to a believe that listing slowly left or right shouldn't do damage with hover vehicles. though thanks for being civil

    Yeah, I have had a few issues with my recording software lately so I haven't be able to record it, but I have been standing behind to a Rhino which then started to reverse and killed me (stun made death unavoidable), even though it only had 1 meter to accelerate on :/
