I can't believe I forgot the Skip Launcher and Starswam I wonder if we should add Destructor and Tickling Fire to the list too, but then again, Destructor is fun against Shieldbros and that counts for something.
But can you do damage with a Six-Shoota? @Eldritch . The Starswarm is rather crapping, but the missile launcher has the single shot mode, that can kill, so i don't think we can include that against the auto-shuriken pistol. I don't know the skip launcher, so you might have me there... Maybe you can give us some more detail?
Only thing I can think of is the tanks mowing you down..thats it. I know firedragons seem annoying but you can kill a wave serpant just as fast on any other faction. Its the fact they run down all defenders first in there grav tank that makes them more effective. Nerfing grav tanks is an indirect nerf to firedragons imo so no need to take double melta bombs away..
Well, you got a point, but the Six-Shoota is still not good compared to the other Ork Pistols at the same LP Cost. Skip Launcher fires 3 "Grenades" that doesn't deal damage on impact (they are timed and bounce around), have a small AoE with a fast damage falloff, it deals a whooping 100 damage each (iirc) which prevents you from actually killing someone with one shot, it also can't be fired more than 8 or 9 times before you run out of ammo (iirc) and it have a rather slow reload (like the Rokkit Launcher).
I'm LSM and I say...nerf cookies now. Seriously though, if they finally reduce the "lawnmowerness" of Eldar vehicles, I hope they bump their health up to 80% of other faction's vehicles instead of the 60% they're at now (unless I missed some patchnotes somewhere and they changed it from 60% without me knowing). Edit: I think I know why Shuriken Pistols do less damage than a DA's SC, or at least the reasoning behind it.
I know about Starshot. But I want to use the main Fire mode, it's the iconic weapon of the Dark Reaper. Skip Launcha is like Starswarm, but worse.
The Starswarm is good when shot from a high place on Hold the Line maps. It covers a large area and you'll almost certainly get kills with it. The Starshot is annoying playing against though, as it's a pinpoint accurate OHK that you can steer. Nothing is as annoying as spawning your Nob, then not long after getting one shot from nowhere with little warning without actually getting a shot off. I mean, you actually have to aim with the Kannon. Also, not a nerf prediction but a tip? As a chicken, spot. Then have Tempest launchers bombard the area. I've just come out of a game that was used in and they cleared the back of A on Agnathio ridiculously quickly. If it's open, this is also where Starswarm is good.
