I find Burny Choppa really only nets me maybe 5-10 more kills that I would have normally. Pretty much almost any weapon will 2 shot(sometimes one shot) people in melee. Most of the time I use a Burny Choppa on someone I still end up killing them with the 2nd swing anyway and not the fire DoT. I mean it should be brought in line with RoF but it's not going to magically break the weapon. At least Burny Choppa can be broken easily since it's just a Chainsword basically and it doesn't apply fire through clangs unlike RoF was doing.
It's already on the chopping block for the next patch, getting its burn nerfed to the same as RoF. It one-shots basically everyone with a single heavy attack + the burn.
It does, but so can an Electro Choppa Axe. And again, I'm usually following up the first hit with a second hit before they even die to the fire dot so it's pretty worthless. I'd two shot them regardless, was doing it with a Dead Shiny Choppa before I got a Burny.
I don't like leaving people to shoot/whack my back while they finish burning. I've seen quite a few people last a good second or two even after a Heavy to their back before dying to the fire.
I aint got a burny Choppa and don't need one... would rather get game time with something that isn't gonna be uber nerfed.
