The game is Heavy-Gear Assault. Its a Arena style Mech game, to have a faster pace than MW, but slower than armored core. You will also be able to Free enter and exit your gear, in fact you will have to in some game modes. The game is Made from the (Unreal Engine 4). Its the North American Votoms Game will be released in modules, and it will have single player. That feature will be released in "Episodes". This is done so that players can get a hold of the game and play it, without having to wait years for a continuous narrative single player to be created. Now Im not here to be a "hype man" but to introduce the game to any Other mech fans out there like me. Have there been any complaints or indications of the developers suddenly backing out on promises, displaying no ability to truly balance weapons, or throwing community managers under the bus? Apologies, let me put that another way - Is there any indication of this turning into another Mechwarrior Online?
lol no problem at all for asking. take a gander at their forums.... WE ALL asked the same question to the devs, Are you gonna charge us out the ass for so-called hero mechs? Devs answered that specifically in that thread. As for overall development team competence, its hard to say... Some of them worked on crysis,ect. And there are original devs from the 1997 game still working on it. I say if you have any hesitation, to just wait N see. For me the game is nostalgia so I would enjoy it either way. (like how we feel about Eternal crusade)
15 dollars for alpha perhaps and such, as well as complete game and i would have given it a try, it looks great but it just feels that the footage i have seen has been cherry picked. It has picked my interest though.
cheery picked by whom? I only show whats available. and the game is going into alpha atm. The dev will of course show more polished things like inengine trailers ect, since grey boxes rarely boost confidence in a game
