They should be NPC's and use the old lore when Necrons before they became a joke more or less tomb kings in space crap that ruined them.
I can't imagine how playing a Necron Warrior or Necron flayer would be like, have you ever seen a Necron run or dodge and attack before? they are slow and not that agile, this game is gonna be about skill you have to dodge and run for cover a lot.
I can't stand seeing this nonsensical argument over and over and over. If the new Necrons are Tomb Kings in space, then the old ones were Vampire Counts in space. Woop-De-Doo. The only thing that really changed between the new and old lore, is that the Necrons overthrew the C'tan. That's it. Everything else was just as true for the old Necrons. The old codex just didn't go into that much detail. I get the distinct feeling that all the supposed "Oldcron" fanboys that are now calling for Necrons to be NPCs, are in reality just Space Marine players that have an eternal grudge against Matt Ward for the (admittedly) bad stuff he did to them. Ever since then they have the preconceived notion that everything he does is bad. Seriously guys, quit it! I don't mind if you hate Matt Ward with a passion. But keep your grubby Mehreen mitts of our 'Crons. I know for a fact that the large majority of Necron players are quite happy with what Matt Ward did to the fluff.
I would hardly say you can say for sure a large majority like the new crons unless you happen to know all most every one in the world that happens to know about them and the change. I do not count a large majority the 5-10 people you happen to know that like the change worth talking about. If you wish to say such silly things i could say the same and go i know a large majority do not like the change and it just becomes stupid as both of us try to say our large majority is right. I have said it before you are a fan of the Oldcrons or a Newcron both sides will stick to how they see the crons most do seem to like the old form what i read on this forum.
Well, you rebutted your own argument. When I am talking about the majority of Necron players, I obviously mean the members of the very large 40k online communities that I have been a member of for many years (warseer and dakkadakka). And look at the ppl hating on the 5th ed. 'Crons in this forum, none of them are Necron players irl or Necron supporters here. So yeah, my point stands.
