Within a nanosecond of receiving the command, Ovaius put a disintegrater shot straight through a crisis suit's chest. He had enough experience now to understand where these giant primitive technology lacked defenses. It fell then exploded, taking another crisis suit with him. As the ion cannons rained from the sky, some of the deathmarks were obliterated immediately, but enough phased out before the shots collapsed the mountains around them. Ovaius gave another message to Lord Ythak, indicating that the Tau orbital support was quickly becoming a nuisance, and phased out.

The Tau commander viewed as the Necrons seems to retreat or disappear again. The Frayed ones were being mopped up, and the rest seemingly disappeared. He had a quick moment of relieve before a disintegrater shot went through his communication array on his battlesuit. A quick succession of shots took down two of the commanders that were reporting in at the time. He looked up and saw a signal deathmark shooting down at him from the mountains above. With a wave of a hand two dozen missiles flew towards the Necron, following the pathfinder's tracking lights upon the sniper.

Ovaius waited until he was sure that the missile had a lock, then phased out at the very last second. The tau artillery collided with the side of the mountain, and a loud crack was heard throughout the ranges. The entire side of the mountain had been weakened from the Necron digging, and then the Ion Blasts from orbit. The missiles was the straw that broke the camel's back. The massive landslide rushed towards the Tau command headquarters, large boulders bounced ahead of the massive rush of dirt and soil. But Ovaius was not a deathmark to leave his targets to chance.

As the mountain was collapsing on the Tau, the legendary deathmark put shots into the remaining commanders he had marked earlier. Before a single pebble reached the base of the mountain all his targets were disintergrated. Ovaius now only had to watch as the Tau attempt to regroup and rethink their approach.

OOC: That's true, but at the same time don't you think some Necron wish to remember the name Necron'tyr with pride and love, since it was when they were at the peak of their power? I may be incorrect and apologize if I am. And time for me to take some heavy damage... Again. (Make it glorious) Please? :p

OOC: You can keep it in there, was just a comment... ^^
  4. Name: Caltuck
    Rank: Lychguard
    Equipment: Warscythe

What is known about Caltuck before the Great Biotransference is that he was a adept and loyal leader, chosing to use the Necrontyr that were infected with lethal diseases than more skilled warriors, as the ones that knew that they were going to die soon fought without regrets and without a morale code. After the Silent King's betrayal, He used Flayed Ones for their melee prowess and morale breaking abilities. He now prefers Mind Shackle Scarabs and Flayed Ones to more conventional Necron Forces. OOC:Is that OK?

OOC: Don't see a problem with that :)

On the downside, also a huge boulder towards the Necron forces rolled down, crashing a Monolith in the side, causing it to collide against the ground and fall to it's side. The Shot that had been charged malfunctioned and caused it to explode violently, parts of the obsidian like structure flying all over the battlefield, killing a few Tau and Necrons alike.

The Remaining two Monoliths activated their Teleport protcols after receiving order of Ythak, seeing the mountain was flatted and the weak spots had been removed already there had been enough space for the Monoliths and they would rain death from the top to bottom. Also finally, finally! A whole squadron of Necron ships has awoken and launched a counter-attack into space.

Ovaius was a pain in the neck for the Tau forces, but his other Deathmarks were not as skilled as him, and so one after another fell as the Tau started to learn and understand the phasing sequence. Just as they phased into the material world again a Fusionblaster met their eye.

The Tau were at the brink of destruction on this force, but they did not falter. The two remaining Riptides engaged the Necron main force, playing an all or nothing card as they overcharge their Reactors, establishing mighty shields that even Disentigrators could not penetrate immediately, their blasters melting even a Destroyer completely.

Ythak growled on that change of events to himself, seeing his danger he quickly gathers Warriors around him. But one after another fell by the mighty warriors. "OVAIUS! Kill these Elite Warriors!" He ordered, raising his staff in hope that his beam would make a difference, but it did not.

All forces around started to fire upon them. Immortals, Destroyers, Flayed Ones, Warriors, all that tried to stop the Riptides failed miserably.
  7. As the landslide decimated most of the Tau Forces, Caltuck seemed to look amused at the swiftly regrouping Tau forces. He then decided to give them a scare and with a thought, what looked to be a small dust wave flew towards the Tau. The mindshackle scarabs propelled themselves toward the Tau infantry. Caltuck then nodded his head and a small amount of the scarabs burrowed themselves into the Tau's skin, and made them clumsily strike the Tau with their guns rather than shoot them to show that the scarabs could control the Tau completely. He then ordered the Scarabs to tear themselves out of the Tau and leave.

Zytrex performed a perfect spin, decapitating a dozen Tau before they even understood what was upon them. They retorted away from him, trying to bring their weapons up on him. They failed miserably as the energy whip bit through armor and flesh and the Eldritch Lance finished the chore by sweeping through everyone behind.
They fear me, Zytrex thought, crushing a skull with his staff. That will not do, for they must fear all Necron.
Some warriors had survived the march and were now releasing their cannons' destructive energies at the dumbfound Tau.
They did not stay dumbfound for long. Harsh training and discipline jumped in and they started to concentrate their fire - taking warriors out with several short bursts.

Zytrex quickly rose to his full height and examined the situation: The Tau were now advancing upon them from nearly every direction, the Necron numbers were painful-
Something massive crashed before him, bipedal and bulky... A Battlesuit now had him in its sights.

Just as its cannons were about to let loose their salvo it exploded in a cascade of red and green lights.

Zytrex sighed. "You landed on a mine... I expected more!"

OOC: Well time for me to jump to bed, I'll see you all tomorrow evening!

Ovaius told the rest of the deathmarks to pull back, and those that were downed by the tau were already regenerating and pulling themselves back underground. The deathmark noticed that shields would go down on the Riptides as they fired, but only in front of the gun itself. Making his way towards them, Ovaius drew his weapons and timed. Just as one of the riptide was about to fire, the deathmark phased in and shot into the gun itself, detonating it and the reactor that was overcharged.

The explosion missed Ovaius, who phased out again, but killed everything within 55 meters of the riptide. The second one wasn't destroyed, but the blast was enough to take out its shields. The shield generator overloaded and now useless. Ovaius swung around and fired into the joints of the Riptide's legs, bringing the suit to its knees, allowing the other necrons to finish it off. He phased out again, and headed for a position where he could cover his Necron Lord.
