The Necron Lord Ythak marched forth, holding his staff high, shooting the attached desintegrator beam upon a close enemy. The Tau Commander, as if knowing to be aimed on used his jetpack to cover himself from the sniper fire that rained upon him and his forces. His forces did not lose of morale, but kept their fire steady and controlled, the Monoliths were even just a secondary problem next to the Snipers. "ENOUGH! ORBITAL FIRE! NOW!" The Commander yelled, his fusionblaster straight as Necrons with skins on them, some even carried already the skin and part of his race. Filling his anger even more. "You are nothing but Creatures of the Crypts! RETURN WHERE YOU CAME FROM!" His Fusionblaster glowed bright as it unleashed the first shot, melting the face of the closest flayed Ones, Crisis Teams suddenly gathering with him, shooting with their flamers, rocket launchers and fusionblasters on the Flayed Ones, while finally the Orbital Command has aimed down on provided Coordinates, firing directly upon the Mountains where the Deathmarks hid, the Hammerheads and Sky Rays focusing fire upon the Monoliths. Ythak, having gathered the main killing grounds, stabbing into a Stealth Warrior who dared to come too close to the leader. "Ovaius, leave the Commander alive... Kill the secondary leaders... Break them." Ythak ordered, being sure no immediate enemy was around anymore as the Immortals around him destroyed the other Stealth Teams he raised the Orb in his other hand. It starting to radiate power that felt for every Necron familiar, as if the power of the Suns went through every Necron around him the fallen started to raise and those still fighting felt stronger, recharged, filled with the feeling of infinite power. On the East Front in the meanwhile with Zytrex at the front, the Necrons started their counterattack. The Tau having built up quickly a long distance started to fire upon the metallic warriors. Though as the Blue Skins were approached they had lured them into their trap. Right and Left on Hills several Squads of Fire Warriors popped up, throwing grenades first and then opening fire. "LET NONE STAND!" A Shas'Vre in a Crisis Suit yelled, blasting a barrage of rockets into them. The fight was now under the conditions of the Tau, the Necrons were not able to hide behind their defenses and they were completely surrounded.
It had been trap, he roared, lashing from side to side with his staff and a whip of energy gripped in left hand. All around him warriors were being ripped apart by Tau grenades thrown from their flanks. "Form a perimeter!" Zytrex screeched angrily. "Reinforce the flanks and slow our advance!" The warriors did not heed his commands and continued their advance toward certain massacre. Rage filling his non-existing heart Zytrex outpaced his comrades and started to run toward the Tau infantry. The energies he had woken earlier created a green hue around him - lending him a ghostly form. He raised his staff and channeled more energy into the whip, and roared. "In the name of the Necron'tyr! LET NONE BE LEFT BREATHING!" And then he was in the middle of them.
As the Necrons fought to free themselves from this situation, a sudden roaring boomed overhead. As the Tau looked skyward, they saw Necron reinforcements Fly overhead. A squadron of Nightscythes flew into the atmosphere. The crackle of transmat beams filled the air as a small army of Necrons arranged themselves and advanced upon the Tau army.
OOC: As much as I know the Necrons do not use 'Necrontyr' anymore cuz it remembers them into their sad sad past. The Commands of the Warriors eventually were overriden by Zytrex, the Warriors started to build a circle, the Immortals in the inner circle, firing controlled into the ranks of the Tau, bringing one after another to fall. The Tau did not expect them to still fight with the same will and faith into their victory as before. They truly were machines and as such they did not know things like Morale, despair, hope. They killed. They killed to survive, not knowing the words 'Giving Up'. A destroyer squad floated up from the rear, swooping over the flanks of the Tau on the right hills. Soon they were all gone, but a Broadside Cruiser shot one Destroyer after another down, soon they were all obliterated, but at least brought relief to the Crypteks' forces.
OOC: Thanks, still didn't know the rules. I'll play as a Necron Lord much like Valgul, then, named Caltuck.
As Caltuck looked over the bloody field, he seemed to focus on the main infantry congregation of the Tau. He then willed for a second for their blood and skin to be his subject's and suddenly there they were. Clawing their way out of the ground and into the Tau vanguard, tearing apart some of their warriors and planting their skins as gruesome trophies upon their cold metal bodies. They were then forced into retreat as the tau brought heavy plasma fire down, falling several of the afflicted Necrons to the ground. The Flayed Ones then retreated into a fissure in the ground as the Tau continued to fire upon them mercilessly.
OOC:....... How about you just ask me about the rules instead of further assuming stuff? The only necron lord around is my char, as it was early decided I would be GM so it would make only sense with me as Lord to instruct the forces. And that is Necron Lord Ythak.
