  2. But the AWEFUL voice acting from Commander Boreal and Lord Caron are what makes Soul Storm so memorable...
    But DO NOT deny the glorious voice acting that they did for the various units in the different games. Here is an awesome video that gives me nerd-gasms every time I watch them.

  5. You can do cutscenes for players in this type of mmo, right? I mean, PS2 doesn't have them, so I'm wondering...
  6. It is how they implement it in the game. Like when you decide to go down into the underworld to battle tyranids, or when you deploy for the first time, or when you deploy into battle have a cut scene of you and your team entering a drop pod. These features are not required but would make the game really stand out, but I see where you are coming from.
  7. But I feel that I have side tracked this thread for long enough, back to the voice acting!
  8. Yeah, what I'm thinking is that it'd be like a separate area, or a true instance in the traditional MMO sense, rather than a general area populated by Tyranids to provide the PvE.
    Well, I think your discussion is relevant to the topic. Without cutscenes, there's no need for narrators/voice actors (besides generic unit voices)
  9. I believe that they are instances in the real sense like dungeons in various MMOs like WoW, except they are randomized.
