Well, for some people stupidity can be dangerous, especially if you get easily angered at "stupid teammates" and tend to destroy your stuff or rage when angry, as that can lead to "dangerous" situations I am far off the point of your discussion, I think.
I believe that I stated quite clearly I was being quite limited in my criticism, solely that the idea that a name is dangerous, which is a ridiculous assertion with greater implications that fall into my own veiw of what constitutes dangerous stupidity. That said, I'm not opposed to them enforcing the quality control standards on naming, I'm not crazy about Xbox Live naming standards, but neither is my brain going to implode if I see a name I don't like. I may go out of my way to murderfy BieberLover420 if I see one though. I'm talking about considering your emotional response to a word, viewpoimt, or obvious troll attempt of being dangerous. Stupidity on the internet can't actually hurt you so it can only ever be obnoxious.
I wasn`t emotional about this. And sure, stupidity on net can`t hurt. But accepting stupid behaviours can lead to some dangerous consequences in real life. This is why moderators are for.
