You don`t understand. I can only speak for myself. I didn`t feel offended. This was a proof how stupid and uneducated people can be. And imo it should be pointed and someone should watch over this. If you think that "Hitler nigga killa" name should be tolerated couse it is just for fun and it is not offending anyone directly then on forums mods should ignore insults and shitty language... Couse it was all for fun and nothing dangerous.

When the magical Imperial Fist fan @IvanMulkeen was on the team as a Narrative Director, he stated that the game would have a name filter system, stopping character names and offensive names etc. No idea if that is still the case, hope it is...
+1 I hope this is enforced. When I use to play I would see half the lobby with actual names and half with CoD aliases. YouTubers as well. DJPenguin needs to go.
But... but... i am a proud Toaster! What's wrong with a Toaster? Nah, just kidding, i couldn't care less if we all had to take serious names ^^ Especially when Players like "Buttfuck McSuckacock" are no longer in the Scoreboard
They confirmed no lore names (sadface) but I think that like... only 2 letters should be able to get repeated back to back, some names have that, and yes I fully agree with the last part.
Lucius-the-eternal and Abaddon are names I've encountered personally. I feel like the individuals rather than doing an homage to these lore characters just demeans them. Comparing your mediocre performance with that of a terrifying leader of men? Shame... shame... shame... If one wants to force lore accurate names, just don't enable players to name their characters. Have a random name generator for each faction, first and last name. I get the feeling that if so many people don't care about names, it wouldn't be as unpopular either as one would normally expect.
In WoW RP and lore names are allowed, only the major character names are forbidden but the lore of warcraft is so big that there are 100eds of possible names ( but who want to run around as Arthas,Durotan ect? Thats quite lame) . They even want RP names for RP-Servers. But i have seen enough strange names to know that they arent really looking after that
I agree most definitely with the disturbing names being purged but how far would it go? For example would my character 'Eldritchbitch' be safe?
