I feel you man. Although I bought and build (first time) my new computer (officially to work on) 3 weeks ago, I have finally started playing EC. My girlfriend isn't happy about the new computer, or I would say how I've been using it since I got it haha. Ya man work is a bitch. Wish I was 14 again, well maybe not but freedom wise, yeah. Oh and yeah the computer is a little monster, wasn't expecting the GTX 970 to be that big.
Shameless bump. On a related note, I am personally looking for 3 american Eldar players for the american division of MS. Not that we have too many EU, AUS, or any other region, but as the American Ambassador, I'd personally enjoy some more people close to my timezone. Now that you mention the different divisions, have you guys decided on how to split the guild, and how one person can lead a guild on several servers if they aren't connected? I know its maybe a bit early to ask, but it would be nice to know, especially for new/potential members. There's currently too little information on how servers are going to work, the division of the guild will be based on that. If I, for example, could create a character on both servers it'd be easy.
We've had plans to deal with a server split for a long time as well @Noromiz . The goal would be to get as many people to play together as possible, but it will all be dependent on how (if at all) the devs split the servers. Worst case scenario (1 character on 1 server tied to 1 account, like LoL), we'd revert back to what Gan and Nate started this guild as: 2 regional managers directing each corps while working together to coordinate the regions as effectively as possible. That basically means it's a lot of effort to get to play with your friends if they live an ocean away. That's a pretty bleak outcome in my mind considering how the MS community thrives on global interaction, but since each account has a minimal of 4 characters, I don't see that happening, the transition between servers seems like it wouldn't be difficult. Bottom line: There will be interaction between the oceans no matter what. MS never sleeps. Never.
