Even then, the game will have to be in a playable state with all four factions (plus Tyranids) by the end of 2015. They've been at it for a year now? All we've seen is two identical half-factions and grey boxes. I doubt they'll have the vastly different Eldar models, weapons and vehicles by the end of 2015 even if they focused solely on the Eldar.
I'm starting to get the vibe that Eternal Crusade is going to be one of those eternal public beta deals that have sprung up recently. Y'know, the game being playable but most of the features won't of been implemented until several months later.
Im a full blown complete newbie to this site. However a huge warhammer fan and thinking of investing into this game. It seems guilds are the way to go and im intrested as a full eldar member

I don't think anyone here is actually confused as to why bE chose SM and CSM as the first factions to be branched out. My main concern, however, is that the Orks and Eldar have not been done before, unlike the poster boys, so that leaves room for a lot of mess. On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people were abstaining from pre-ordering anything until they see something feasible related to the factions they want to play. I won't throw another dime until I see some Eldar action. Anyway, afaik, they are planning to launch the first module at the end of this year, beta is somewhere next year and launch probably at the end of 2015. We'll have to wait and see how things develop, though, personally, I'm slowly losing interest and won't show any until they give us something that is not related to SM or their Chaotic counterparts.
