Well, I know I can make multiple characters, but most MMO's are quite time consuming, and the primary class I choose is obviously the one I'm spending most of my time leveling, mastering skills, and improving on. Since Aspect Warriors are about excelling in one sphere of combat, I want to stick to one, and truly master it to be the best at my job. So since the Tau Empire is most likely not going to be represented for quite some time, I'm going to support the Eldar, since they're the closest choice to the Tau Empire. So is there a formal way to apply to this guild? Or can I just ask here and join?
What I meant was that you don't have to switch characters, the same character can switch between classes, and the progress you make in one class can carry over to other classes.
That's really strange. I'm not sure how I feel about that; it sounds like it would make working on alts pointless. I guess we'll have to see how this feature develops, but I can see some good and bad points about it already. Thank you for the link.
One of the US fireteams is Oceanic. We need more oceanic members before giving them a separate fireteam.
The game is made so you do NOT need Alternative Characters. 1 per faction - all you need. Because that's the new trend and I prefer it as well. You just can switch your loadout and therefor change your class. Jump between Banshee, Scorpion, Reaper, etc. as you need. Also the whole idea is to combine some perks, etc. Think of EVE DUST 514
It's not that strange. I'll have to remind you that this is a MMOTPS (Massively Multiplayer Online Third Person Shooter), not a MMORPG. It's closer to Planetside 2 (a MMOFPS) than RPGs. My bet is that Heroes in EC are going to be like MAXes in Planetside 2
True, although I'll point out that the Devs are very sensitive about calling this a Shooter, they even describe it as an MMORPG themselves at times. The game has RPG elements, but is played as a third person action game, which includes shooting (since there's also melee combat). =P
