Apparently they need help not to fall on their own swords in melee and figure out how to leverage a cone damage debuff, I don't know why he wouldn't want me to reproduce because then Eldar might get more half decent Banshees. :p

Scream is 'eh' at best. I rarely use it and do just fine as Banshee.

Its more for overkill to one-shot a target. I still don't know all the effects of the scream...

Plus, I usually hate having to hold 'T' to use it, such an awkward keybind.

Banshees were hit hard with durability changes on UAT. Scream is great, but first you need to get into melee. For a frontline shock trooper, Banshees need a lot of cover and sneaking around to even get close enough to deal damage.

That, however, may change, since UAT is in constant flux and the changes aren't finalized.

Essentially it's like Jinx where it increases all the damage that Banshees do to the target by 50% in a room, i'v not personally tested it but by all indications that means the visual for friendlies is somewhat misleading as they won't actually take more melee damage.

Therefore I always scream whenever there's multiple targets, there's no good reason not to. With it I can put elites under half health with no armor in a power attack and outright kill most normal troops or tip the odds against high impact melee opponents by putting them in a state where two-three of my fast attacks is death.

There's really not a good reason not to use it unless you're sneaking up on a lone target.

Haven't tested UAT Banshee yet, been busy working around with the Chaos Sorc. I'll likely put together some thoughts for it once it hits live.

I use it, but with all the Eldar usually engaged in melee (as in jumping around) it's tricky to not debuff your own team, and the visuals alone seem to irritate them.

With blocky enemies like Shieldbros, Powerfists and sometimes even Heavy Bolters it makes reading their animation harder, but that could be a personal problem.

Banshee has 150 health and 80 armour on latest build.

Ground assaults on CSM and LSM have 200 health and 140 armour.

As long as I have my I-frames, I may as well have ten health and it wouldn't make much difference. Just give me a sword, and point me in the direction where you want things to die.

How about you go play UAT first and comment later instead of all that theory crafting?

If you think base difference of 110 EHP is irrelevant on GA archetype class, then you're even more delusional.... sorry, I can't even find comparison, that's how deluded you are.

For your own sake, I really hope you're trolling hard here, because this post makes you look like a complete, ignorant fool.

Dodge stacking works on live, not on uat.

I don't even wear armor on the basic banshee, why would I? The extra health and toughness is needless when the Crimson Banshee icon exists, I simply dodge out of most of my shots or use it as a gap closer and slaughter whatever was unfortunate enough to be in front of my face at the time.

Why precisely does dodge stacking not work on UAT? and when has looking like an ignorant fool ever stopped you from posting? :p

Hush, that's how you keep it high on front page.

    Neither do I -ON LIVE-

Do the same on UAT, I dare you.
Until you do that, you have no credibility here.

You're talking about changes you have NOT experienced and arguing people who have tested them extensively. Ignorance needs to have some limits.
