Also, judging from the wording in alot of the thousand sons lore (and a quick trip to lexicanum) It says that Rubric Marines tend to fall into activity without a sorcerer around, but in combat their battle lust returns, so on a technicality, one could argue that since they are in consistent combat on these planets, they would maintain activity without a sorcerer nearby.

It says that sentence needs citation so its unknown where the information came from. In the book Ahriman:Exile the Rubric Marines were present during a battle but didnt move at all because there was no sorceror commanding them. Now a codex generally has more credibility than a novel but i havent seen any details on Rubric marine behavior in any codex.

Yet again, there is some fluff differences, in the second space wolf book there is some minute behavior when not near a sorcerer, and activity in combat without a sorcerer around. they could pull it off if they NEEDED to, doesn't mean they should but the option is there.

The problem with God specific legions is that they are too specialised. For example if they build a system where the classes follow different gods for different load-outs/specs , it would be downright disasterous for the god specifics. Imagine a Thousand Son Khorne berzerker

Also , correct me if im wrong but i think the only TS who are not rubricks are sorcerers , this is why they arent rubricks in the first place. Likewise khorne only has berzerkers. Nurgle and Slaanesh are not bound on one class but still , if they add say TS , all the world eater fans will rage that their got left out.

Last but not least , God Specifics hardly have any equivalent on other fanctions. I think its mote possibly to see them post-release when the game will be shaped and balanced already. Its a pity because aside of my word bearer main id love to play a plague/noize marine

Personaly I hope the dev will make the customation in such way that you cannot change your colours too much from the main legion. It would not suit the lore and I personaly don't want to see pink marines anywhere.

I don't see any problems at this stage yet for the colours cause the devs have said they would be adding more chaprets and legions to the game which means that everyone should get what they are hoping for eventually.
