I have been reading through some of the threads around and I’ve been getting a little depressed from seeing some of the hate that they give to the Raven Guard. I read one post that they are cowards and their Primarch is also a coward and that they are responsible for the death of Ferrus Manus and his Space Marines on Istvaan V. I have been seeing that some members that say that the Raven Guard should go to the warp for their heresy, and not be added to the game at all, let alone being in the vote. There are also members of the RG that say the same of the imperial fists. Yes I do admit that we (Raven Guard) have people who are doing that crap, spreading hate across the forums but does it really have to affect the chapter and what the people see them as? I do not think so. In fact I’ve said many times that I would like all of the chapters to be added into the game but I do not know if it would be possible and it will be too much work for the developers to handle. Now the reasons I picked the RG is their tactics, their history, they are one of the chapters who got me interesting into the Warhammer universe in the first place. I also feel that they do not get enough lore or even attention within the Warhammer lore as they should. I feel that this is the only chance they have to fully part in a game like EC but now I feel that is not going to happen and that they will be remembered in the forums as I said in this post. So, my question is: will the losers of the vote have a chance to join the crusade again later?
As a Salamander, I do not really care of who wins. But for this to be causing such toxicity is very upsetting. From what I have seen in the Lore, It is Iron Hands, Raven Guard, and Salamander's faults that Ferrus is dead. Ferrus Manus was too stubborn to consider his Brother's requests to retreat. Perhaps, if they had stuck together, it would be different. BUT! Is that any reason for community members to attack each other? I think not. It is a matter of opinion and debate, controversial, sure. But must rivalries in the universe cause splinters in the community that enjoys said universe? I personally hope that (at least) all first-founding chapters make it in. But until that point, if it comes, why can't we all get along? Can't we all just be glad we are finally getting a 40k MMO?
There's toxicity all throughout it. It isn't just towards the raven guards. Every one of the Loyalist factions have gotten vicious with eachother. Some of it is in-character, some of it is just spite.
But what is the point? Why must our love of our chapter make us attack other members of the community? It won't get us anywhere, won't gain us anything. For example: I am disappointed that Salamanders did not make it into the vote. But if I were to go around, bashing members of the other chapters in anger, what would I be doing other than causing pain and more anger? Perhaps I am just too much of a Salamander to get it, but it seems like we should be happy we are getting Eternal Crusade, not causing splits in the community because we didn't get what we want.

I'm not a fan of any of the 3 factions, but I'd prefer Fists, as they offer a good looking colour pallet rather than all the dark colours we've been seeing. Colour ads a lot to the game, do you want to stare at brown, grey and other shitty dark colours?
From what I've seen, we have a good, semi-bright blue with the UM, a nice grey-blue with SW, a dark green with DA, and a bright Red with BA. So I am afraid I don't see the problem with another dark color. But, to each their own. Everyone can have their own opinion. I just eventually want my lighter-green Salamanders We do seem to be getting off-topic, though. The question is if the losers would have another chance to get in, and not be lost forever.
I voted Fists due to me wanting bright yellow targets to shoot. Of course I could be a bit bias. Banana Mon'Keigh targets all around!
