Mutations Abound

    they should be a mutation for raptors/people with jump packs.
    they would have different advantages/disadvantages, for example, perhaps the 'ground pound' is less powerful,
    perhaps add the ability to glide?

    bionics and purity seals could be equivalents for space marines to mutations

    but what about other races?

    and chaos also have access to bionics, though less so..

    Well, as someone who does not play tabletop, I have fairly little insight in which ways the gameplay is actually balanced in respondance to mutations. As far as I know they are some kind of upgrades you buy for your models, wheres Space Marines have different upgrades for equal measures. But I'm sure they will be balanced in some way, for all races, so that I can gladly look forward to mutating around.
  4. Coruscating Warp Flame could be retrofited from a vehicle upgrade to a marine mutation with the same benifits. say represented as a vulture head or just the beak protruding from the shoulder pads to spit out blue fire when in hand to hand combat engulfing or setting your opponent a blaze.

    Would be hilarious with a mutation meter, as in, if you pass a certain point on the meter you become a chaos spawn of your patron god. Although with this idea I imply that chaos mutations are something that happens randomly on the battlefield rather than actual equipment and weapons prepared before battle.
    This all depends on what the devs wanna do with mutations.

    Mutations should, in my opinion, be a randomized thing like on the tabletop. Here's an example:

    I've reached rank 3 on my CSM terminator, and I've unlocked 1 free mutation point! Once I use it, it randomly generates one mutation for my CSM, whether it be very useful, or useless. You could either spend it immediately to get a chance of a good rewards, or could save it for a greater mutation. A greater mutation would have a visual impact as well as be more catered towards your playstyle (Like, if you play a ranged character, it'll remove the chances of getting a melee based mutation)

    I would like this idea, except that by comparison SM marines may have the advantage because all of your mutations have gone awry. Unless it's a sort of high-risk high-reward thing where some mutations can be a huge advantage in exchange for some being a worthless pile of shit I wouldn't go this route

    Eldar could gain access to various runes to be placed on their armor, maybe? Orkz are easy, just big rickety bionics, metal jaws, unnecessary tusks in unnecessary places.

    Yeah, this'd be it. It'd also have a higher reward for waiting with you mutation points.
    Like, if you waited and got 5 mutation points, then you'd get one that closest fits your playstle, and is one of the best tier mutations. Or something along those lines.
