Yep, it's particularly enjoyable when you spend lots of money on a box only to receive an item that is entirely identical to one you already had. I can live with palette swaps, but not this sort of thing.
The venerable chainsword I can equip on my raptor, one of the preorder bonuses, has the exact same skin as another chainsword I got from a box, making it not even unique. RIP hope.
You guys are getting it worng, those are clearlly different guns, one is a Multi-melta and the other one a Multi-Melta, clearly different beasts.
At least that has a different name. Someone at some point had to type a few letters on their keyboard, then make sure it was entered into the game in some way. There are some weapons, such as the OP's, which are exactly identical in every way. It's literally just the same weapon again.
Devs have been pulling this shit for decades. I remember in SWTOR, the devs gave the players a unique item for pre-ordering their expansion and then a month after the expansion, they put that same item in a cartel box (that you pay real money to get). Everyone was just like ....the fuck?
