Least Feared: Power Axe - Can easily outrange with backpedaling. At least Power Fist can instakill you and has ambiguous tells between Light Attack and Charged Attack. Lascannon - Only a bot could kill infantry that's paying attention to the laser pointer Heavy Bolter - Wimpy DPS, can easily run past. Only thing deadly is the FPS loss from suppression effects. Most Feared: Meltagun - Low margin for error in close quarters Chainsword - Probably the fastest TTK in the game. Plasma Cannon - Dev charging up and coming around the corner? Only place you're safe is in the next map.
for instance I play sniper/tank hunter from long distance (stalker/lascannon) most often I'm killed by an enemy melee player whos got behind me or by an invisible autocannon explosion the things that kill me the least are heavy bolters and pistols
Most: Storm Shield Predator Autocannon Plasma Cannon Least: Un-upgraded combat knife Bolt pistol Apothecary with Boltgun. I mainly run Bolter with frags as a Chaos Traitor.
Least : Auto cannon - My melta gun and melta bomb loadout makes the preds heart melt. Power axe - Really slow. Heavy bolter - They're annoying but slow and weak when not entrenched. And if they are in trenched they're easy pray if you can sneak up on them. Most : Plasma Cannon/Gun - Plasma is brutal regardless of who's shooting it. Chain sword - So fast! Quad cannon turret - Stop shooting my rhino's!
Most feared: Pro player Least feared: Newbie player Any and all of the weapons can be used and abused into the top of the score screen. A skilled player can, in effect, abuse certain bugs to defeat anyone with anything.
Bolter as least feared? You must mean the Heavy Bolter or the Storm Bolter because the regular bolter is hilarious OP. It has no damage fall-off and you can snipe people across maps better than with the Raven Bolter. Fix your post.
OP? It's a decent all arounder, but come on, the default weapon not being gimped and actually fun to use is a refreshing change of pace. The Stalker, now that's arguably OP. It's absolute murder at most ranges, and at least not worthless even in relatively close quarters.
Still struggle with plasma being so much better than my beloved bolter. Can't wait for the mark of tzeentch on a tactical to grant inferno bolts
