More pve

    Is there plans to do more PVE, i cant deal with pvp, for reasons i will not talk again, but pve i love.
    Could we have more missions and bigger missions? Like achievements co-op were you log in the missions you unlock?
    And vs several other races?
    Maybe missions in the maps of PVP were you fight AI bots, and have missions to accomplish.

    And my opinion make the missions with no time at all and more doable so people have fun and play them more. I don't understand game maker they forget what is to play a game and have fun? The last Boss and all those minions is just not fun.

    I think this game needs a real Army man to tell Dev team how to make the fights because it needs some strategy and refinement.

    1st a moving guy hits better than a stationary one? At least make it impossible to moving enemies to make head shots and crits, make it only possible for people that is not moving. Its not nice to prepare a defence and see a guys running and hitting you and all your team not even stopping to aim, and you that have support and are not moving can't hit them because they are running and moving to all sides.

    Add minions of other races, nids fill the gap for them:
    Space Marines have the Imperial Guard
    Orks the goblins
    Chaos the cultists (or whatever they were called)
    Eldar I dont know

    And you cant PVE against your minions. This could also add a MOBA like gamemode (More like one of these rope games where you have to push the rope, but you have to cap points, like in Battlefront)

    It might sound dumb, but its a thing that legitimate looks great inside my head wich is: faction specific games(not necesarely PVE)

    Now let me exemplify, orks could have something like squigball (based on football, north or south version whatever) the ball is obviously a squig, rules like normal football but with ork brutality!

    i got no clue what marines, eldar and chaos would do tho(i KNOW what chaos would do but this game is not +18...)

    I would like to see some outdoor PvE missions and space hulks.

    Maybe a bunker that is being over ran by xenos. Must stop them from breaching the bunker and must hold out until a drop ships comes to pick you up.

    I would like to see the traditional space hulk missions added to the game.

    A training form of PVE that is PVP against bots would teach people the basics of team work, but I do not think BE has the time to make that new AI Code.

    However, outdoor nid maps, more diverse nid enemies would be fun and easier to accomplish.

  8. I enjoy PVE as much as PVP to be honest. I use it primarily for getting additional points as it's much easier to communicate and work with a Squad in PVE to accomplish a mission. Additional PVE options would be amazing.

    As with most questions of future developments...

    No. There are no plans. This doesn't mean they will not eventually do something new for PvE. In fact, I'd say it is quite likely that they eventually will... but nothing has been specifically planned or decided.

    Once again, there will be no point asking any sort of question like this on twitch. They will not have any answers, because they only plan for a few months of development ahead... and they already have the next few months development planned and decided.

    As for when... besides the fact that that bE will not be able to tell you "when" about anything that is not immediately what they are working on... PvE updates are not likely to be soon, judging by their current rate of development.

    They are obviously quite a small workforce with extremely limited budget. Despite being shown 3D assets for terminators and wraithguard before christmas break last year (and being told they'd arrive a couple of months after christmas), we have not yet heard anything about them.

    The new elites are absolutely bare bones work. They have retextured existing assets to make them. The most amount of work they have done lately is the new world map and the stealth mechanic on the kommando (which already existed on the scorpion).

    So again, judging by the current rate of things being produced, any PvE updates are not likely to arrive for several months yet.

    On top of that, don't expect any ground-breaking PvE updates. People talk about new AI factions, whole new game modes etc... but nothing like that will likely ever happen, given their current rate of development. It would take them over a year to make a new AI faction, and probably another year to implement it into a new map.

    I would love to see big complex boss fights against something like a carnifex... but it's not going to happen. Bottom line. It is too much work for too few people. Something like that would be several years into the future.

    I want PVE maps with outdoor sections. I want PVE maps with "escort" missions... escort a slow moving Rhino through a wide tunnel, survive waves of gaunts and defend it from a warrior... I want map sections where there is a choice of ways: a long and dangerous way, and a short and blocked way which can be opened op with demolitions.

    This stuff shouldn't be too hard to implement compared to certain other suggestions.
