Cool now a bit of advice to get said army is to take over a settlement or two and since most people are scared shitless by the redemption they'll pretty much let you do what you want.

Well besides random encounters I guess you could set up a vox signal to imperial frequencies. That could attract some Imperial remnants but could also attract less desirable people. There's also a chance to find a few surviving veterans in settlements or just recruiting survivors from said settlements. That's one of the problems with the guard finding more trained and experienced imperials that already aren't under the command of a competent officer is hard since those that weren't are either already dead or are scattered and very few in number. Generally make good choices that won't figurative or literally blow up in your face. For instance those banners weren't the best choice so I warned you with that hooded fellow. So just be smart and you'll continue to succeed unless something completely unexpected happens to stir things up.
