Looks good of course since they are eldar getting replacements is going to be exspensive as all hell though but they have pretty much the best and most advanced gear around so it balances out as long as you play smart. I'll add yours and Vulpas's to the list. Edit: so it turns out that I've run out of room on the list so new plan I'm going to just change it around to be quoting the post with the list on it as to both save room and to not drive me mad
I have an idea. "And so in Four there is One. And in One there is All. And all that shall be of the Four shall be of the One. But the One desired to better itself, and only through conflict can it become better. And only by simplifying it's incomprehensible vastness can it's Mortal children understand it. And so the One became Four, and the Four fought amongst themselves, for in conflict the Four could sharpen themselves, and the One, itself. And so the One's Great Game began. But the One was not satisfied. It needed to make itself stronger from the conflict. And the One said "Let there be Five. And let the Fifth embody my rage and hate. And let the Fifth forever stand against the Four, and be their Enemy, for in their Conflict shall I evolve and become Greater. As I have said it, so it shall be" And the One disappeared, and to all Mortals it would be seen as naught but Chaos: The Secret Order and Design of the One would be hidden, and the Four and Fifth would appear in eternal conflict and self-destruction. But the Truth cannot be denied: In Five, there is One. And in One there is All. And all that shall be of the Five shall be of the One." -Liber Maledictus
Ok that's intresting but you don't need to justify your character's beliefs to me or anyone else around here your characters are your characters.
Fair enough just don't need chaos jargon floating around here while I'm trying to get things in order.
“Laughing Skulls” The few, the proud, the Expendable Renegade history: The members of this renegade group were once part of a leftover pdf regiment guarding a section of the great perimeter wall that surrounded Sanctus. Morale was constantly low due to both the savages attacking from both outside and within walls, and the thought that no support or supplies will ever arrive to this planet. With the constant blithering of the local priest, and the rather trigger happy disciplinary actions of the Commissar it was no wonder that seeds of mutiny started to form in most of the guardsmen there. But for a select few it was more than their miserable situation that drove them to be traitors, something started talking to them in their sleep. A serpent that called itself Kaathe wreathed in scales that constantly shifted colors, from burning crimson and glowing azures to alluring violets and sickly olives. A golden eight pointed star branded onto the top of its skull. It promised them the usual fare, power, life of luxury, to be masters, serving true gods, and control over the city for. All the serpent would have promised was a way off this planet and they would have listened anyways, so now they have higher goals. On the night with other factions inside the regiment began overthrowing the commanders and hanging the commissar over the wall with a line of cable, Sethis left with the few that had the same visions as he did into the interior of the city to stake a new path. Emblem of the group Spoiler Name of Leader: Lieutenant Solin Varkanis Gender: Male Age: 34 Role: Renegade officer Appearance/history: Short cropped black hair and green eyes, weathered tanned skin, stands at 6’4”. Uniform of black with the serpent skull painted onto the armors pauldrons like the rest of his group. Not only did the Lieutenant began receiving visions like the others, he was also one of the masterminds behind the inner regiment revolt that bought them their freedom. A quiet and dour man, he tries to lead his people through some of the worst situations and keep them alive. They were still his friends after all, even taking this path of the damned for a hopefully better future for them. A commander that leads from the front, the Lieutenant is more prone to brawling than and from of organized tactics. It was as if battle was one of the few way the man felt most alive in, relieving stresses and frustrations with every swing and bolt round into the body of an enemy. Equipment: Carapace armor, powersword, 2xbolt pistol, frag grenades Name of Warband: “Laughing Skulls” Faction: Cultists and Renegades Henchmen: (Starting limit 5 names and backgrounds are optional) 1. Bruce Role: Renegade Guardsman Equipment: Rotary heavystubber with ammo backpack, laspistol, combat knife, flak armor (inspired by the pic you posted earlier) A bald scar covered vicious man all of his life, his role of suppressive fire fit his rather bloodthirsty personality that grew worst ever since they left the old regiment. While still able to tell friend from foe, most make sure to be behind him when a battle is joined just to be safe. He fashioned a grisly smile of teeth taken from fallen foes onto his combat helm. 2. Janice Role: Renegade Guardsman Equipment: Heavy flamer, lasgun, laspistol, combat knife, flak armor A pyromaniac to the core, Janice makes wielding the standard heavy flamer into an artform. As if chosen to be a bringer of flame, she has a copper red hair with freckled pale skin and eyes of blue. During the night of revolt she took it upon herself to torch the ammunition supplies as a farewell to the wall. Some say that smoke still rises from that part of the wall to this day. 3. Rilk soris Role: Renegade Guardsman Equipment: Rocket launcher (loader), Lasgun, combat knife, flak armor, frag grenades One of the two twins that operated the rocket launcher of the squad, Rilk is just as hyberactive as his brother Barnos. Growing up with one another since childhood, they easily coordinate their efforts without much verbal speech. Rilk always seems to know which target Barnos is going for and load the appropriate rocket round needed. Both have long auburn hair and brown eyes with pale complexion 4. Barnos soris Role: Renegade Guardsman Equipment: Rocket launcher (gunner), lasgun, combat knife, flak armor, frag grenades Looking exactly like Rilk and the gunner of heavy weapon team, Barnos had an affinity for landing his rockets right where they were needed while completely trusting his brother to load the right round. 5. Secias Role: Renegade Guardsman Equipment: lasgun, combat knife, flak armor, medicpack with chiurgeon’s tools, frag grenades The silver long haired youthful medic of their former regiment, Secias retained her profession of sowing the soldiers back together either after the fight or right under a storm of bullets. Along with her caring demeanour for those in the Laughing skulls, she has an ever growing thirst to study and research medical and biological possibilities when she can. Either studying mutants or dissecting xenos on an improptune lab area, she’ll take it where she can get it. Hero: (Starting limit 1) Name: Shelia Zenarias Appearance/History(optional): Blonde hair tied into a bun with a dark complexion and red eyes, stands at 6’. Before the night of revolt in their regiment, Shelia acted as Solin’s aide and closest friend during their time garrisoning the section of wall. Even now after killing many of her former stormtrooper compatriots during that night, she remains loyal to the Lieutenant. When Solin is more busy plotting out the next course of action for the group, Shelia steps in to discipline the other troopers as needed, acting as the groups den mother. Though anyone who comments on it and is not Solin gets a las round to the foot. With her skill and experience, she also acts as champion of sorts for the warband whenever such a situation arrives and a duel is called for to resolve the dispute. Role: Renegade stormtrooper Equipment: carapace armor, Hell pistol, powersword, human variant bolter.
So right now we have 2 Chaos factions, 1 mutant faction, one Xenos faction, 1 Imperial faction and 1 Redemptionist faction. Seems like the forces of the Corpse-Enemy of Mankind are outnumbered. This's gonna be fun!
@Keidivh If it makes it any better, we won't shoot you on sight as long as you don't. We're still mostly reasonable.
