Actually, I think a buff to chain axes for khorne users would be a better buff to the mark, with the full health on a successful execute being a nice bonus that will be under-appreciated.
Of course I do. Considering the grind you have to go through to get it and considering all the disadvantages that come with MoK, chainaxes (manslayer included) should globally benefit from being carried by a Khorne devotee. In fact, I'd like to see all chainaxes made as fast as chainswords in the hands of a berserker, and restricted to the MoK. In the case of Chaos, this buffs only the assaults who bear his mark.
I agree, but the reason people run with NCS is because it reliably does damage better than most other options. This is partly because poison does percentage health damage that ignores armor, and partly because swords are dramatically faster than axes and mauls and leave almost no window for your opponent to react to what kind of attack you are using, whereas axes and mauls give you a very generous window of about three times longer than the sword for what is a comparatively negligible increase in damage.
What's so special about Khorne Berserkers? They aren't afraid of dying and that's why they don't hesitate do to crazy and risky shit. Problem: In EC, nobody is afraid of dying, because you come back 10 seconds later. Solution: Get rid of those 10 seconds. Characters with a MoK get respawned instantly. Make suicide meaningless. Instead of trying to stay alive, imagine a character whose entirely play-style is to crush the enemy without caring for his survival.
