I don't like it, "let's polish SM and CSM gameplay until is perfect!" 2 months later they add orks and the "perfect" CSM and SM gameplay has to change again... I understand that they want to give us a really good experience even in the first game module but I would rather them to add everything ASAP and then slowly start the changes.

    Slow...
  2. Guess the founders store is here to help fund anyway.
Just make sure you don't over do it though guys, don't want this to be q 'founders or gtfo' kind of game.

I am very excited for this approach as I believe it will result in us all meeting on a battlefield somewhere before Xmas

I agree. I also don't care for seeing any more Founders-only items beyond what we already have. I'd rather the devs have as large a potential customer base as possible for each item they spend their time and resources designing and creating, and future Founder-only stuff doesn't help that.

How else could they involve the community into building the game? They need to do it piece by piece and collect feedback for each small aspect of the game.

Imagine how much features should they change if they released the game without letting us give feedback. That is, if they wanted us to participate in the developement. Which they do!

So yeah, this is the best method for their purpose: to make the game we want, and to allow them to collect our feedback in the most effective way.

I'm not too bothered honestly, but i voted no for one simple reason: by going with this "module" model, a lot of people who don't understand the system will think the game is bad/unfinished/whatever will whine and it may start bad publicity all over the place.

It's not that different from early access models, the only difference is that instead of constant patches and small additions every week/month, you get huge patches adding entire chunks of the game every six+ months, i don't see the difference in the big picture.

How do we like something we have not had the pleasure of trying yet?

you can do that, but it won't change how the vast majority of people behave.. it's just their nature
