Ah, my mistake. You are saying that, in your perspective, the mods are doing an inconsistent job because they can't understand English as well as you can. Glad you cleared that up, although I think you'll find the effect remains the same. Do you mean the exchange where I told the person repeatedly, for pages, that they were not making coherent or legible statements, and that after being told such (by others as well), they started swearing and abusing exclamation marks and talking in a more hostile tone while maintaining the same level of readability? And where after repeated requests for him to either find someone else to type it for him, or to calm down so he could type in a readable manner, he refused and continued on? I'm sure you find anything said by someone not agreeing with you to be in bad taste. Case in point, you made this thread! Oh my, the hammer has been thrown down! ...by some forum random. I'm sure they won't take that lying down!
oh dont worry remember the official forums only count for 10% of the player base and people read steam more than here .... /sarcasm ... either way i am surprised so much shit goes down in these forums without a slap from a mod every now and then ...
Most mods actually do work in silence and with pms. Which is a way better method of moderating in my opinion than throwing threats around. Threats for temporary bans totally calm people down on the internet. No discussion ever escalated after a mod told us to stop.
@Kilrane He is actually doing a really good job. And i say that as someone who got repriminded by him.
